My experience of Bristol is that it frequently grinds to a halt even without snow!
This would be correct :( One problem can gridlock the whole centre of the city quite easily as everyone scatters to avoid it and everywhere else gets clogged up. same with the southbound M5, which can make the north-west part of the city sieze up when it's busy. I won't say more or I'll get all ranty about the council :rotfl:

I am very grumpy for the same reason as ww.

In the past week I have sent a follow up email to my old manager to see if I can go back, applied for 3 jobs, had one rejection, and emailed my agency contact to see if he has anything better for me. Yesterday I sat in a meeting feeling angry and resentful and wanted to throw my laptop at the others and storm out. They weren't even being unreasonable, I just don't want to do it anymore.

Snow didn't lie which is good on a commuter level but it would have been nicer than the rain and grey skies today.

If I get any more grumpy, I'll have to go and live in a trashcan.

I actually half-seriously wondered that before pyxis as I was always synched with WaS.

Perhaps it is the moon after all.

Can't even be bothered to look at my lists.

Just had a Greggs in the hope it will stop me crying in the office later. Can't say I have much confidence since I bought emergency chocolate too. Can't wait till I can get home for DA dog cuddles.

DA dog cuddles will definitely help :)

P cat hid in the airing cupboard last night..... I think he had the best idea.... I may well join him when I get home.

I am cold, tired and grumpy.... not a good combination. This office is SO FLIPPING COLD. I'm sat here in coat, scarf and gloves.

My DH is currently refusing to make me a mug of horlicks as it is 'an old person's drink'.

    Evening my lovelies,

Massive hugs, handshakes and squishes all round.

WaS so sorry to hear about MF. Seems BIL is washing his hands of the situation. How old is he and is he dependent on his mother financially? As if MF does not get free care it has to be paid for and that means selling any assets, including her home.

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: sorry should not laugh that is very funny. I agree its an old persons drink but would not refuse to make it for you.

I am at home tonight then off again tomorrow. So one night in my own home. Been dog walking the last few days. Well actually I walk to a local green space and then lob a tennis ball for the dog. Being a collie he needs to have lots of running. I am mean, he thinks I am going to throw it one way so he runs off in that direction and I lob it the opposite direction. I love watching him run.

Not sure if I am ailing for something or not. Been feeling really rough on and off the last few days. Ache all over and muzzy and feel sick. And tired, slept for 2 hrs yesterday afternoon. was spied on and told I look cute sleeping  but was out for the count by midnight. Fell asleep at husbands today while waiting for him to come back this afternoon :rotfl:

Have a remembrance parade on sunday as action man is in the TA. I will be meeting his TA mates umm!!!

Anyway how do you tell someone not to do something when you have asked a number of times. I have grass out the front of the house. Lodger comes in later than everyone else so has to park up the road. nope the lazy person parks on the grass. I have told him he can't keep doing it because he will wreck the grass. But nope parked on there tonight. Think he will be told again not to do it. Not my problem if he comes in and there is no parking.

Well he will get a shock in 6-9 months time. As if things keep going the way they are. Action man will be moving in and lodger will be gone. As neither me or action man will want him here when that happens. I will be nice and give him a couple of months notice. Not sure he will see it coming. But will start to drop hints after xmas.

I bought some shoes from half cost. Did not realise the heels where 5.5 inches  guess who will break her arms and legs. Will call them my stripper shoes :D I will have to learn to walk a different way as at the toes they are angled upwards.

I know but they were only £3.99 a pair. Mind you they sent me something extra in the box and also the wrong colour of something I ordered. Have informed them and see what happens.

Everyone try and get some rest.

    Yours

    Calley X
