I'm in a clique! It's a clique of one! It's a unique clique!
I love :eek:0 -
I liked the way they kind of pecked at each other when they first met, and of course the fact that they could even find each other again after all that time apart! I managed to completely lose my car in a supermarket at the weekend (so much so that I was getting in a right panic).... I would be a rubbish albatross0

Penguins are the same........they're apart for months, yet on returning, they find their mate amongst thousands of other identical penguins!
How?
Mind you, I expect to penguins, humans all look the same too!(I just lurve spiders!)

WaS, I'm so sorry to hear about Millefleur. I know that it shouldn't really come as a surprise, considering his past uselessness, but I can't believe that BIL hadn't even told you!!
Although it's not an ideal situation hopefully it means that she'll get better care now than BIL was able to give.
Calley - Bless Action Man and I hope all goes well with him meeting your parents.
WW - That's so lovely about Littlewing's prize. You must be very proud of her.
Ono - I'm very jealous of your bag and might have to pop in to Forbidden Planet as I'll be over that way on Friday. I hope all went okay with your friend.
Apologies to anyone I've missed, the weekend catch-up posts tend to muddle in my head a bit, and hugs and squishes to all.0 -

I am having a thinking bad thoughts about work day.
Won't put them on here as most of my thoughts wouldn't get past the swear filter.
Found out any more today, WaS?
Plus a quick shout out to MIAs - welly, been thinking about you and LS today for some reason. Possibly because today was a "take a Gitdog to work" day.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Good morning. Slept well but then awoke and it was only 5.30am so I got up and did a few jobs. Feel better for not having them whirring around my head any more.
Hope you all have a good day today.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -

Stay there all day pebbles!
Very cold and frosty here too. Am going to gig in Birmingham tonight - am really looking forward to it but winter gigs are such a pain..... trying to keep warm on the way there with the minimum number of layers so that I don't melt when I get in there :rotfl:.0 -
Home now, had a nice weekend. The exhibition was very interesting and I spent quite a lot of time in the main part of the gallery after as I've never been before (which is odd, as I always go to galleries and museums when on holiday, but despite growing up near London I've not been to any of them there). My friend has been referred by her GP for an assessment for possible counselling as while she found the CBT interesting it didn't deal with the root of the problem. So, she's hoping that gets approved as she hasn't the money to pay for it privately. Oh and my laptop died on the first day away, screen went off and I now get the beeps of doom when I power it on
Took hours for the house to warm up when I got home, have changed the duvet from "autumn" configuration, which I only started using a month ago, to full winter mode as well. Brrr!
Pyxis, Shooting the past is one of my all time favourites, and I have it on DVD. The conclusion of the first episode where Lindsay Duncan's character tells Lily's story is one of the most compelling sequences on television or film. The BBC didn't seem to know what to do with it, putting it out on BBC2 at 10.30 on Sunday evenings when almost no-one would be watching. It has been repeated once, I think, but that must be a decade ago now.
