    ((((((((Code)))))))))))

I need a firm talking to. Feeling very low and tearful this weekend. I'm crying at everything and I have to go to a family dinner which is big birthday celebration and I just want to curl up in bed with the curtains closed and stare at the wall. I don't want to be around actual people but my food has been ordered and I have to go. So let's get me moving at least to the point where I can fake it.
Given that that's just what I'm doing, I wouldn't be best situated to talk firmly to you.

Code, big girl pants, plaster on a smile and fake it till you make it.
First step, jump in the shower.
Let us know when you've done that.
You might find it's not as bad as you think when you get there, it might take your mind off things a bit? And you don't have to stay any longer than you want to - show your face, smile nicely at the birthday person and go home early if that's what it takes. Plead a virus, or whatever is going round at the moment.

Hello continualdiamond! Welcome to our thread, you can post as much or as little as you want here and we will always listen. You have had some great advice so I won't repeat it, just know if you feel alone we will always be here for you.

That sounds like the perfect weekend to me, Lambyr! Well, other than the chaperone dog bit! I have spent the whole weekend playing Minecraft with my american friend so haven't done much either other than make a pretty house for my pet monsters.

Big hugs, Code. Take a deep breath, smile and get through it as best you can, you can do this. As elsien says plead illness to leave early if you need to, a sudden migraine should work. I will be thinking of you.

Big hugs to you, too Pyxis.

That looks like a wonderful slow cooker, Georgie! I had no idea that they were that cheap, I was expecting them to be at least £35! My next DLA payment will be spent on one, I am excited now!

Ok. I showered, put on a 90s happy playlist from my streaming subscription, danced around a bit to Ricky Martin, Blackstreet and SNAP (dating myself a little here). Ok. Next, get dressed.

  • Hahahaha! I used to do that, code! I would dance by myself until I felt better. Well done on the shower, dance around a bit more and then aim for clothes!

What are you wearing Code? Is it a dressy up do or a bit more casual?

I went to my naughty dogs walk this morning. I now have a special dog walking pair of jeans complete with holes where one of the other dogs decided they needed a bit of air conditioning.
Followed by a spot of garden watering interspersed with a lot of strawberry eating. I had no choice - they were all ripening at once.:D

Pyxis, is it anything in particular or just one of those days?

I am really not doing well in response to this eviction fear.. I feel so wierd, like I'm floating around in a sinister fog.I don't feel real. My adrenalin levels are so high, I don't feel safe in any area of my life, and I've started hearing scary voices , maybe due to the stress and lack of sleep.I feel like I'm having a bad trip on class A drugs, it's horrible. I am so harrowed by everything.
Many thanks to all who contribute on MSE :)

I'm so sorry you're going through this Faeirie :(

Is there anyone you can ask for help with this situation? Do you have a social worker at all? My friends who have BPD/bipolar had a social worker who negotiated with the council to get them somewhere to live.

    *gentle hugs*
