I refuse to believe anyone is completely hopeless at craft (I was as a child but realise watching littlewing that it is more that I don't have the opportunity to practise).

My uncle gave me a calligraphy set for Xmas once and it was my best present.

I always wanted to be able to do copperplate but never had a go at it.

Talking of presents, what happens with the Others when the 'host' get presents? Do they all enjoy the experience? If a small present was given specifically to Lucee, WaS, would the other Others be upset?

    Morning my Lovelies,

Hugs and squishes and handshakes all round this morning.
Well any time you want them really :rotfl:

Saw lego man last night. He has worked 12 days straight often late as well. But the job got done in the end. He asked me yesterday if I missed him as he has missed me, soppy sod. But back to nights next week :( But I do get to see him during the day and we do go out and do stuff.

going to penguin the next bit as its a bit TMI and about food

I am going to have to go on a really basic simple diet. As last night I am not sure what caused it I had massive stomach cramps and then diawoo.

I thought I knew what was causing it and stopped eating that. But yesterday was carb filled as I went out and did not eat anything until later in the day. And then ate carp just before lego man arrived.

So its going to be chicken and chicken and more chicken with steamed veggies and salad and maybe pop in some tuna. For something different. Nothing that is processed or any packets or jars.

And we shall see what happens. As that was horrible last night. made worse by the fact that lego man was here and I had to disappear to the toilet for like 10 mins :(

Might be one good thing I might lose some weight.

    Penguin end

Seeing my phews later. So that will be nice and we are going to a soft play place. Which means I get to have my first proper chat with there mum since she became my SIL.

I did spend a load of money I don't have yesterday but I have now hidden my cards away and wont be spending any more money apart from bits and pieces on food.

As nothing I really need or want.

Everyone have a good day and catch you all later.

    Yours

    Calley

Well so far everything I've ever tried to do crafts-wise has turned into Homer Simpson's barbecue pit... just without any of the artsy crowd mistaking it for a meaningful piece of modern art.

E's amazing at these things. She collects those Warhammer figures, and the paint job she does on them all is phenomenal. She makes her own scenery too for them. It's really quite spectacular.

I've always been able to imagine anything perfectly. If someone gives me a prompt, I can perfectly picture every sight, smell, tactile response etc. but never seem to be able to physically construct something.

Not tacky then? That's good! I'm generally quite rubbish at being romantic, possibly because I go a little potty overthinking whether something would be appreciated or not. :rotfl:
She would always like to say,
Why change the past when you can own this day?

Talking of love poems, a million years ago I wrote this:

NB? Please don't quote it, as I will delete it later!

    Poem deleted.

Lambyr - A poem sounds like a lovely idea - I now can't stop thinking of "The Cloths of Heaven" (not that I'm saying you're poor) - and it's often a much easier way to express how you feel. I'm sure she'll appreciate that and a home-cooked meal far more than something which takes money rather than thought.

Calley - I'm glad all's still going well with Lego Man and love the fact that he's open enough to tell you that he missed you. Have fun at the soft play.

If anybody finds some motivation could they please send it my way. I've got quite a lot of work to do and am currently looking through photos trying to find my favourite out of 3 years' of holiday pics to get put onto a canvas for our bedroom wall.

Hugs and squishes and fabulous weekend wishes to all xx

But Lambyr, Lambyr! You can construct something from those sensations, numpty pumpty! You can turn them into words!

Don't diss the creativity that stems from writing!

Plus, plus, in writing, you are also giving the gift of imagination, because the reader pictures and feels all those things you are writing about! :)
