I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -

Aw, gentle hugs Faerie. You can always moan as much as you want here, I do! I am sorry to hear about your friend, he sounds like he has his own problems right now. Hopefully you will make some new friends at the centre, I made some very good friendships when I was in the same circumstance with people I related to who related to me.
So sorry to hear about the pain too, that certainly doesn't help. Time for warm blankets and kitty cuddles?Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

Thanks tory and Waves
.. I do hope I make some new friends, and hopefully my friend will be ok with me eventually once he sees me working at my BPD. My spine is hurting so much.. I have a great infrared heating pad, it has jade stones to project the heat, but it's on the blink.. My friend calls it the Hugatron as it feels so comforting.. I'd give anything to have a warm bath to soak in!

Faerie, I agree about the bath. When Loon came home this afternoon he ran the bath and helped me in and after helped me out. Warm bath and bubbles with the radio - bliss.Lost my soulmate so life is empty.

I vowed never to be without a bath!.. I miss candles and aromatherapy oils.
I didn't think I could laugh today, I've felt so low, but the sofa and armchair I bought last month from Argos, was supposed to come 2 weeks ago, but they rang to say it's not coming til July.. so they gave me an inflatable sofa.. I didn't have high hopes with 3 cats, and presumed it would go the same was as an inflatable hot tub went, a few years ago, and yep, it lasted all of a day! Pumpkin had been asleep on it for hours and when he woke up, just now, he couldn't get off it.. when he went left, it went right.. it was like a kitty bouncy castle! It cracked me up!!Many thanks to all who contribute on MSE0 -
catching up on thread
Apologies for not posting much (again), the gig in saturday went badly, ended up having multiple panic attack (and ended up in 3 seperate first aid tents..that has to be a record surely? ). Currently feeling very low and not wanting to enagage with anyone . PIP medical is next week and nobody can get time off work to come with me. Feeling the lowest ive felt in about 4 years. Its not going away. Its like having a constant black cloud above me thats consumes everything. Really need to make a doctors appointment. But feeling like theres no point cos they wont !!!!ing do anything useful. I juts feel like absolute !!!! tbh

Aww, MU I am so sorry that you feel so bad. It is worth making an appointment for your GP even if only to have it recorded how you feel. That should help with your PIP claim. Have you considered asking to be referred back to the mental health team?
Use your coping strategies as much as you can, lean on Swain and us and try to do some reassuring things for yourself. It might be an idea to avoid crowded places for now until you feel a little less shaky. Always here for you, huge hugs.Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

(((( Faerie )))) (((( MU ))))
Faerie - is there anyone you know who has a bath you could borrow for an evening? I'm sorry that everything's rubbish for you at the moment but I'm glad the kitty managed to give you a laugh.
MU - As WaS said, it's worth making an appointment even if it's only to have a record on file. If you're expecting them not to be able to do anything at least you'll be less disappointed if they can't.0 -
Pyxis, I have stork photos. Possibly even from the same town which did indeed appear to be stork central.
Not able to post pics as I can only get wifi by pointing the phone through the window at the tennis courts which is beginning to attract some attention!
I have still not turtles as I can't for the life of me remember the phrase unless it's written in front of me.
Sorry for the folks who are having a hard time, faerie and MU.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
Izadora.. none of my friends have a bath.. I would def blag one otherwise
Messed.. sorry to hear about your multiple panic attacks.. I used to love going to gigs, and festivals, but the crouds always gave me panic attacks.. It's great that you went though, even though you had bad anxiety.
You know you can request a home visit for PIP if you don;t feel able to go to the assessment centre. It might be wise to rearrange if you can to take someone with you, or have the assessment at home.. What about contacting Mind if there is one in your area, or the Bipolar society, that I left the link to in your other thread. I know my local BP group has peer support people who can accompany people to assessments.. here's the link again: http://www.bipolaruk.org/find-a-support-groupMany thanks to all who contribute on MSE0
