thanks guys so much! Tea, I had no idea how therapeutic colouring was until I tried it! I will look in poundland for some books to take in to the group. Cally.. sorry you are struggling and Pyxis too. .. penguin
.. with food and bingeing. .. I had a binge last night too.. I can't seem to stop for more than a few days, but this week I had 3 binges in a row. I think my night psyc meds don't help, they turn me into a sugar and carb munster. I'm going to try and make myself a protein smoothie tonight just before I take my meds. I'm going to put frozen berries, a banana, some soy milk and protein powder in. I find protein dies fill me up, but I've not mades protein smoothies for a couple of years, but they did help then.

faerielight,
Reply to your penguin about food
I have food in the house. It needs to be cooked which means the dreaded washing up. So I can't be arsed. And in the time it takes me to get in the care and go up the shop I could have cooked.
Its a shame they turned it in to a tesco express as its better than it was and I could not be arsed. Even worse I take the car when its about a 5 min walk. Big fat lazy moo.
I never use to be like this and not sure why I am now. Think because I am not working. But when working I get stressed and then binge eat. So I have no idea what the solution is.
Penguin end
Anyway bed time for me. feeling a little better had a friend to visit.
Everyone have a good as night sleep as you can manage. As tomorrow is another day.

elsien,
train up gitdog like this (this is a demo and knifeman has a big, cuddly dogproofish suit:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/video/news/video-1291980/Anti-terrorist-dog-savage-knifeman-milliseconds.html
What's enabling the dog to know the difference between the threat and non-threat from the same person and can I use that understanding to train myself better?
On a similar subject, this may be a penguin (being under threat from a stranger. I am trying not to trigger anyone so do not read if feeling sensitive) virtually everyone I know who has ever had a dog believes their dog will protect them if they are subjected to an attack, yet media reports on individual cases show that people may be attacked and sometimes the dog does nothing. Why are a lot of owners so sure that their animal will protect them, or is my view coloured by no-one reporting attacks where a dog has seen off a threat?

Sudden movement maybe?
I have never been under any illusion as to any of my dog's guarding abilities. My last one ran off and left me when a passing person started shouting. The faithful hound is a lovely thought but doesn't appear to apply to bull terriers who'll roll over for a belly rub off anyone and everyone.
ETA, Faerie, the Works also have loads of adult colouring books although not quite poundland value. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Still frazzled. The list of things I need to do before my break is getting ever longer. My tolerance level for idiots is non existent. This could be fun as I am currently trying to chase up a lot of idiots. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
