That's great WaS, glad he's making good use of it! What sort of shots does he like taking?
That's a clever idea code.
Because of the warm breeze, it reminds me of Vegas here today weather wise, like the moment when you first step off the plane and are hit with the hot air. My freckles are starting to come out!
Autumn/winter used to be my fave seasons, but I'm becoming more of a Summer fan now tbh.0 -

So you get a freezer bag, put a good amount of washing up liquid into it, seal (with no air) and roll into sausage shape that can wrap round your wrists, pop it in the freezer and then wear like a bracelet - instant cooling and less sweating.
Either that or a lot of ice cream!mellymoo74 wrote: »I think I understand what you meant Calley
You have to drive as you drive your husband round so you really don't want someone who lives some distance away who doesn't drive.
I'm a bit like that. I like driving, and in the last 25 years have driven all over the country regularly. It was very, very rare that I'd be driven by someone else. It is very tiring, though, all that concentrating.
I don't do so much now, but I do still relish the times that I can be a passenger, relax, look at the scenery, shut my eyes if I'm tired, etc.
It's still very rare, though.
I think if I were the only driver in a relationship, it would start to nark a bit, although it wouldn't be a deal-breaker.(I just lurve spiders!)

Spring and Summer are my least favourite seasons. Heat doesn't bother me so much, but I have to be careful not to get burnt and the pollen attacks me. And there are insects. So many insects. I quite like spiders and bees but other stingy things, especially wasps and horse and deer flies can eff right off.
Plus, being a black, double coated dog, DA suffers and I have to worry about contaminated water and algae and heatstroke.
I do enjoy it being light for 16 hours a day though.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
Yes, Pyxis! Just to keep me even warmer I have very thick, long hair and a fringe! I am melting! I shall try an ice pack on my head, too.
WaSp likes nature photography, Georgie. He has some amazing shots of close ups of flowers and insects on them, he has a real talent for it.
I used to be scared of wasps (WaSp?) code, until I stood on one and got stung on my bare foot. I am not quite sure what I was imagining but the pain wasn't too bad. It hurt but nothing like I had imagined, I think I thought a limb would fall off or something.:rotfl:Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

I'm the odd one out, I love the sun and when it's warm! I have to wear a hat with a brim as I can get sunstroke, and suncream as I will burn, but there's little that beats a warm sunny day for meProud member of the wokerati, though I don't eat tofu.Home is where my books are.Solar PV 5.2kWp system, SE facing, >1% shading, installed March 2019.Mortgage free July 20230

Hahahaha! Enjoy it for me, ono! I have nothing against sunny weather, it is the heat that's the problem. Plus I can't be out in the sun for long because my daily antibiotic can alter the pigmentation of my skin into brown patches if I am exposed to sunlight (on top if everything else). I do like being at the beach in the summer, there is enough of a breeze there to keep me cool.Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

I love nature photography too, and also love black and white. He should send some in to the local paper or some competitions WaS. :onomatopoeia99 wrote: »I'm the odd one out, I love the sun and when it's warm! I'm coming round to that way of thinking now ono.0 -
I have suggested WaSp sends in his photo's to a magazine but he goes all shy!
I have just agreed to go out on Sunday! Beaches will be too busy so WaSp suggested we drive somewhere remote in the countryside and go for a walk or at least just a drive. Please keep me to it, other than a door to door psychiatric appointment and an A&E trip I haven't made it out of the flat since December which is ridiculous. I told WaSp as long as I can see farm animals I will give it a try!Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France
