It's a nice happy medium for us introverts who like to make a teeny bit of social effort occasionally :rotfl:.

I did used to beat myself up about things like that - sort of, why bother going at all if you're not going to become best friends with these people, they'll think you're rude, etc. Then I realised that actually, I'd much rather do a little bit of something on my own terms than miss out altogether.

    Afternoon Shipmates,

Hugs, handshakes and squishes to all. And duvet hugs for anyone who needs extra today.

Guess who got sun burnt, On my neck and top of my chest and on my leg as well  that will teach me to wear a dress :rotfl: Been out this morning and bought the P20 sun cream in 50+ and some aftersun as well.

had a really nice yesterday. And this morning my emotions crashed as I realised what I had to look forward to today. Not a lot. We both had fun and lovely day. But it wont progress for a number of reasons.

I did go and met a giant this afternoon for coffee. He is 6ft 5in and I am 5ft 4 :rotfl:seems nice but a few niggles for me. He does not drive is one thing. So see how it goes.

I seem to have a mad rabbit. She keeps following me and if I stop she keeps running around me. I wonder if she can smell the aftersun on me. As that is the only thing I can think of that has changed.

I am off to watch a film. No idea what yet.

MU I had booked Izombie on netflix to watch somewhen. But thanks to rec I have started to it watch today.

Everyone take care and catch you all later.

    Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee for now.

    Yours

    Calley

I too am an introvert inasmuch as I need to recharge just quietly on my own. However, I love meeting new people, it doesn't mean they have to be your best friend, in fact you may only ever see them once but have a nice time whilst doing so. And I would HATE to live in isolation. Even when we lived in rural Spain, it was in a village with a shop, a bar and a church. Even then I went stir crazy sometimes. Too quiet and nothing happening.

I love our holiday home, in fact am there now,it's a static caravan in Snowdonia, but even that is within walking distance of a bar/restaurant. and surrounded by other vans, even though our location within the site is very private. I'd hate to be in the middle of a field with no neighbours.

    Just my two pennorth :)

Errrm. I don't drive. Doesn't make me a leper or a bad prospect for a relationship. Guess I'm lucky Mr CP didn't hold it againt me.

Code it does not make you a leper/bad prospect. And I suppose I am being a bit sexist but men normally tend to drive. I assume that Mr CP likes to drive. I do it because I have to, to get from A to B.

Not something I enjoy but endure. My husband had to stop driving after his stroke. So have become use to being taxi.

As I said its a niggle. But will see how it works it.

D drives so little nowadays and I do a lot more driving than he does.

I got in a car with him the other day and realised that because he does so little driving, he's becoming a bit rusty and tbh he made me nervous

I'd definitely say I'm the better driver. I enjoy driving. D doesn't and my uncle doesn't, so I wouldn't say all men enjoy it, just in the same way as a lot of women don't.

I'm thinking of suing Maccy D's. The McFlurry machine wasn't working, wasn't working on the hottest day of the year so far! I'm hormonal and grumpy and warm....Do you think I've got a case? :D

I jokingly whinged at Tesco last year complaining they didn't deliver my ice cubes during a heatwave.

    They gave me a £5 e-voucher. :D
She would always like to say,
Why change the past when you can own this day?
