In a way I wish we had just left it to communicating on Facebook because I could have kidded myself it was a glitch. We swapped emails and wrote so much because we had so much to talk about and then nothing. I am left feeling rejected, like a walking mental illness and grieving for the friendship we had which I thought we had back again. It also really feels like I did something wrong and I feel shame at who I am.Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

Well, you absolutely did nothing wrong. You got in touch with her, and offered your friendship, and confided in her. Nothing wrong there. They were all gifts.
And don't feel shame. Look at how many people on here you have helped. How many people has she helped over a two-year period? Not as many as you, I'll be bound!(I just lurve spiders!)

I love :eek:0 -
Aww Wassie, you are feeling like someone who's been abused (which is actually what has happened.) Blaming yourself for what your abuser has done. You cannot help your illness (and remember that actually psychosis is the body's HEALTHY reaction to the things you suffered as a child) and in fact you are doing bloody well. Send me her email , if you like - I'll sort her out! *evil grin*
It would probably do her good to find this thread and find out what acceptance really is (not just of you, in case you are feeling paranoid. I love the fact that everyone here is kind and accepting of each other.) xxxEx board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0 -
Oi WaS

WaS, for what it's worth, I think it's your friend's problem not yours. For whatever reason, cutting off contact is likely to be some sort of coping mechanism for her. From where you're sitting, I guess it's almost impossible to not take it personally, because whatever her reasons it's extremely rude and hurtful and shows no empathy at all towards the impact on you. But that doesn't make it your fault or mean that you've done anything wrong.
Maybe she's changed and isn't the person you had the relationship with any more - her loss, more than yours.

I just did the toilet walks with the dogs (and kitten)0 -
Gitdog found an adolescent labradoodle to play with. He got outbounced (probably for the first time ever) and has finally realised he doesn't like other dogs repeatedly jumping on his head. He has failed to understand that this means he should stop jumping on other dog's heads in return.
Thick as pigshit. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

I think like Froo he just gets so excited he's focused on doing the bouncing.
Froo is in love with Foxy, she shows this by getting in her face and bouncing on her at the moment Foxy is being quite good but most cats smack her one.
She still does it tho0
