Iza I’m really pleased your dad got a second opinion, hopefully your mum will be a bit more herself soon x0

Sometimes I find it very hard being like this. I told my husband that I've been having dark thoughts and what they are, and his response is "You shouldn't feel like that, you have to let things go or they just eat you up" he said all this while not once lifting his eyes off the TV. Then we eat dinner and he makes small talk obviously feeling a bit awkward, then just goes back to the TV. No kind word, no reassurance, no hug or any physical contact. I should be upset but if I'm honest I just feel utterly numb. I think I'm on autopilot in my life.0

That's rough, Dandy.
What a shame that he can't see you are crying out for affection and reassurance.
Have a hug. ((((((((((((((Dandy-Candy)))))))))))))

callyw - my husband swears by zinc and selenium from Pharma Nord, and they do seem to work! Take one a day for a few days, and then two a week. (I hope it's OK to recommend vitamin supplements on here - I know we are not supposed to recommend medicines but see these as different.)
Important though - don't take them on an empty stomach. Ideally take with food, or they can give you tummyache.Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0 -

JB, Thanks I will take a look in to that as I was thinking of getting some multi-vitamins to see if helps.

You may have to get them online...(OMG I've just looked and they are quite expensive. DH has recommended them to several people though, and they do seem to work - people who were getting loads of colds don't get them any more)Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0

Morning my lovelies,
Hope people have managed some rest.
MU do you have a smart phone? I would use that to track everything you need to do. it should help with appointments etc.
well JB not sure if its the multi vits and mineral tablets or its going to be a short cold but been taking the for last couple of days and the snottyness of the cold has decreased. Mind you they are massive tablets :rotfl:
Decided its time to get organised as wasting so much time and energy seeming to do nothing. Ordered a wall planner so we can so sort and actually see what we are doing when. Wish me luck:rotfl:
Everyone take care hugs and squishes all round. Still think about the MIA's and hope they are well just busy. But still miss them. Fingers crossed they will pop in and tell us how everything is going.
