WaS - I'm so pleased that village life is going well for you, it's lovely that you're able to get out and about.

MU - I hope they get the meds sorted for you.

How do you reinvent yourself, or maybe your image? I feel like that is the biggest cause of my current anxiety.... although I don't know tbh.

I treated myself to a really good haircut and colour, like a complete restyle. It helped my confidence no end!

Also I always make sure I have neat eyebrows. I can't be bothered with makeup in the mornings but hate having messy eyebrows. Find A Thing that you think improves your appearance overall and go with it :)

I think my physical image is okay at the moment, I've changed it a lot, but it is more my reputation :( I feel like I am unable to escape that. I feel like I'll inevitably have to detach myself from the old me completely, and that might even include seeing less of my mates.

I'm so sorry, I don't quite understand (I've been away for some time!), I do apologise! Are you able or comfortable to explain further? Please penguin it or PM me if you need to, or don't say any more if it's a painful subject :)

Sorry for being a bit rubbish!

MU - Good luck with getting an appointment today. Going to the walk in centre if you can't sounds like a good idea.

Stoke - Sorry, I'm a little confused too. I'm not sure if it's that you've changed but people's opinions are still based on outdated information or that you want to change but are worried that people won't see it and will still judge based on past reputation.
I think it's incredibly difficult to change someone else's opinion so all you can do is be the person you want to be and hope that they'll be able to see that rather than your history. I'm not sure how your reputation is currently affecting you but is it going to be easier to accept it than try to change someone else's mind?

This somewhat explains it, not quite 100% but yeah. I need to think for a bit.

Maybe you have outgrown the circle you moved in before, who have known only the 'old' you.
Were they an influence on the 'old' you? If so, and you want to get away from that reputation, maybe it is time for a change. Nothing wrong with that; we all change and want different things and move in different directions.

Even if they weren't a bad influence, you may still have outgrown them. Stuff happens, we move on.
