Aw, adorable Melly! Give my princess a squish from me please!
The first embarrassment of village life happened today. I went to the pharmacy to collect my first prescription and the pharmacist walked over and whispered "Can you come back tomorrow for your antipsychotic? We don't stock these because no one else in the village takes them". Lovely, I am the only person here who takes antipsychotics. That's not embarrassing at all...:rotfl:
I do have to add in the pharmacists defence he only mentioned it because he wanted to know if he should order them in monthly from now on. Yes please...Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

And he did whisper it to you, which was thoughtful!
I wouldn't worry about being the only one in the village! :rotfl:
I expect we would all be the only one about something!(I just lurve spiders!)

That's true, Pyxis. I just momentarily felt like the village nutter :rotfl:
As it is he said "So that's 140 a month." The number has never felt so huge :rotfl:Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

Hold on a moment though.
You went into the village pharmacist? You spoke to him? You WALKED into the VILLAGE and spoke to a PERSON?
Wales obviously really agrees with you! And I don't recommend the League of Gentlemen (very bizarre comedy series) for you as I know you don't really do TV, but you are distinguished by being the Only Psychotic in the Village(There was a long running joke about 'The Only Gay in the Village' where a very camp guy got irate about the fact that he was the only gay person, despite the fact that everyone was telling him about 'Nora and Dora popping out the back for a shag' and similar stories that made it obvious there was lots of other stuff going on. There are probably lots of other people with psychosis who go to Cardiff for their prescriptions or have them sent by post or something!

Hahaha! I felt like that JM! It was never ever mentioned in a city, I have to remember things are different here and a lot more personal.
My doctors and the pharmacist are only 3 minutes walk away from my flat. There are so few people here that I have been able to walk to both. It makes it even more clear that my problem has never been going out, it is being seen. It is much easier here to leave the house because you are lucky if you pass a single person. It's so lovely to see! It's like watching a flower blossom, hearing how you are able to participate in village life
