Thanks for all the lovely supportive comments. You guys are amazing xxx

Doc has just signed me off for another month. Relieved but anxious about telling my boss. Although they will probably be relieved too - they've got enough on without having a flaky bossymoo in the building. Feel a bit guilty but I don't think I'm much use to anyone at the mo.

On the plus side, my house is spotless (ish, allowing for kiddies), as I've been distracting myself with flinging and cleaning. Honeybear might be relieved to know I've not resorted to redecorating. Yet ;)

CY I hope the new chemo is much better suited to you and wishing you no adverse reactions to it. Sounds like a very tiring time for you and I hope you are getting lots of rest xx

Pigpen, bugs begone vibes to you xx
Ionafan migraine begone vibes to you xx (and thanks for the message xxx)

Two trips out to collect books and now I need to spend the rest of the afternoon doing admin stuff before trying to collect the rest this evening (hopefully before Liverpool match kicks off ;) ). I've washed up, put a wash load on, just finishing my lunch/coffee then I'm going to quickly groom Zack, vacuum through downstairs and then on with the admin (which is basically printing stickers, cutting them down and sticking them on cards so easy!). Tea is planned, and I'll get that on to eat at 5pm (DD can wash up afterwards) while we watch the end of Zorro...or whatever we're up to watching lol

Off to find the furminator

Once again apologies for absence. I've read, but not taken much in, so I'll just put a heap of various posi-vibes, and you can all grab the ones you need, ok?;)

It's great having Mr LW here - he's done loads of Flying with me; we even have a (reasonably - this is Milton Keynes the Dust Bowl of the East Midlands) dust-free bungalow.:T

Rosie and Lucy are lovely little lasses; they're here til Monday. I shall be sorry to see them depart for home!

Anyways, this was a quick visit, as the aforementioned lasses want their dins.;)

    Evening!
Just catching up with Grantchester and last night's Greys (never watch anything in real-time with adverts!)
DS was fab in his play today and DD seems to have stopped coughing!
Managed to fling a vacuum around the house today and go through a couple of kitchen cupboards throwing out well-out-of-date stuff.
Need to clear a couple of bookcases tomorrow inbetween running a craft table at a toddler group and promising to acquaint DD with Beauty and the Beast.

Sending healing thoughts and a restful night to one and all.

    Hi all

Just checking in, its been a tiring day at both jobs then parents evening. Sigh. DS2 is just not working hard enough. Yes we know but what do we do about it? He wont even talk to us. I dont want to get a year down the line and see him do badly at his GCSEs then feel like we didnt try hard enough. A little bit of me worries that this is something to do with DS1 and all his problems and that fact that DS2 has never had the attention growing up that he should have had.

An early night is needed I think. Only one paid stuff tomorrow then its weekend, hurrah!
  • Evening all,

As predicted by me, the energy I had Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday had now been replaced by end of week fatigue. Only dailies done. Boo.

Going to clean the bathroom though now, as doggy came back from her walk smelling like she had been swimming in a muck spreader, and I had to shower her, and now the bathroom smells like a farm.

    LW you sound happy x

nmm those shows are a guilty pleasure, it's like medicine, I watch those for an hour and it gives me a boost to do a bit of flinging.

YL don't beat yourself up, he will find his way. My OH always said he didn't understand the point of school (no matter what his mum said, he just didn't get it). He 'got it' later, and got where he wanted to be via a different route x
