    Morning :)

Hugs, sticks, spoons, get well soons and vibes to all :)

I've been awake since 5.30, up and trying to sort the internet out since 6.30. Finally got it working again but having to use the 5ky router which they sent me many many months ago. On the plus side it's faster and I've gained a few inches on my desk which should make things easier when I'm using both laptops.

Today's plan is to clean right through and do the laundry after I've groomed Zack again. I finished vacuuming downstairs at 3.30pm yesterday and there are already hair balls! I also have some work to do in the hopes I can get everything associated with it away in the cupboard/bin as appropriate so its out of sight. I think I might do some shredding as well.

Buckets of *healing and strengthening vibes* heading your way, CY.
I work on him when we are having sort outs, encouraging to part with things. (like the recent five wheelbarrow episode). It keeps me sane that most of it is not in the house. Mainly now my tactic is to persuade him not to get more stuff.
I'm not sure how well it is working.

Was it really only me that found that line :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:? OH has had two sections of the attic under dustsheets for 20 years. Nothing moves, nothing gets used, nothing changes. He never goes through it. He won't get rid of anything more than once a year, and even then he thinks he's done really, really well if one teeshirt goes to the CS. I just prune my stuff as drastically as I can whenever I can and make sure his stuff doesn't encroach into my space for long.

On the plus side, my house is spotless (ish, allowing for kiddies), as I've been distracting myself with flinging and cleaning. Honeybear might be relieved to know I've not resorted to redecorating. Yet ;)

Really sorry things are tough in he Moo House at the moment. (((Hugs))) for you all, and thanks for the reassurance that you haven't had to break out the paintbrush. Fingers crossed it stays that way.

*Healing vibes* for you, Dancemum. It sounds as though you're quite run down.

OH managed to keep on top of dogcare and looking after himself while I went to the funeral of someone who will be very much missed. She was organising our 40th Reunion when she died and it's given me real pause for thought about all those small things I keep meaning to do with and for friends but somehow just don't get around to. A lot of letter writing needs to happen for a start.
    Better is good enough.

Had another crappy week but at least not in agony like last week. Lost 2lb, got called into office at work to discuss my poor attendance recently and had child I'll. Generally I just feel crappy and unable to cope

Oh no, hugs. Sorry I should probably know this but what's going on with your health, are the docs doing anything? Dont let work bully you, I know its easy for me to say but getting yourself fit again is more important.

Have had a disastrous chat with DS about school. He ended up in tears and is now not speaking to me. I tried to be gentle but he refuses to accept there is a problem, even though deep down he must know. Well the fact that he started crying speaks volumes.

And DS1 has just rung, sounds like Mums Taxi is about to pick up a non-paying customer.
  • Hi all, Friday hooray!

HB glad the wheelbarrows made you laugh, I've got to admit even I laughed it was so ridiculous. He got rid of two, kept two to use, and one is an heirloom (it was his grandads) so I said I would plant flowers in it.
Hope the funeral went as well as these things can. We have one next week, a friend we haven't seen for ages who died suddenly.

mummyroys big hugs, and I agree with yl,don't let work bully you. It seems to be the way employers deal with sickness these days (especially government employers).

YL, maybe the chat will have helped, even though it seems disastrous just now. When he calms down he may think it over x

Flying wise, dailies done and not a lot else apart from a bit of tidying.
    Off to eat pizza! X
