  • Evening people, just a quick one to say hi.
Today: Walked dog miles, daily stuff, hoovered bedrooms, down to school to listen to readers, kids to swimming lessons. Now just going to put away shopping delivery.

Bossy really good to hear from you, so sorry you're having rough times. Lots of hugs to your ds, and to you too. I really hope the work situation resolves, that will be one thing less to worry about. X

cy great to hear from you, glad it went OK and they have sorted some treatment. feet up!

missy, re OH's and their stuff. We have an enormous shed. I mean massive. It is full. We also have a garage. Full. Another smaller shed. Full. I have my own tiny shed for gardening tools. There is also stuff (ie a project car and some other stuff) just in the garden. You know, when I have written all that down I realise how bad it is. I work on him when we are having sort outs, encouraging to part with things. (like the recent five wheelbarrow episode). It keeps me sane that most of it is not in the house. Mainly now my tactic is to persuade him not to get more stuff.
I'm not sure how well it is working.

    Morning all

Bossy sorry things are tough. The best advice we were given about DS was to make sure that he knew that he could talk to us and not be afraid to say whatever he wanted. Sometimes kids will keep their feelings to themselves because they dont want to worry or scare you. Then its important just to react calmly when they do say things that you maybe dont want to hear.

DS1 went through a stage when his health was really bad of saying that he wanted to die and he talked a lot about not being around any more. The psychologist said that it was so important that he was saying these things to someone else and not keeping it inside. We used to talk alot about how things could go wrong with how you were feeling and how this was just being poorly, but in a different way.

It will pass, they are tougher than you think and you are a great Mum. Take care of yourself and use that family support that you have got around you.

Busy day here with both jobs, need to keep plodding with the housework. Parents evening for DS2 later, my bright, lazy, very loveable teenager. Have a feeling it will be must try harder!

Have a good Thursday everyone x

In theory I have 85 books to collect in... Downstairs floors need doing again... its going to be a long day! I have already changed my bed, had a shower and hung some washing out. :D

Ds1 back at school so much more peaceful today. All of my plans today have changed so looks like another day at home. I will try and catch up!

Might pop up to the chemist at some point today: little miss has a rash on her face. At first I thought it was a milk rash but it is getting worse and is now covering half of one side of her face.

My excessive tiredness of the past few days has turned into a migraine (again). I am just sorting out the things I need for tonight and laminating a few sheets of paper, then I'm going to lay claim to the sofa until lunchtime if not longer.:mad::mad:

Flying will have to wait. I might get out in the garden this afternoon for a change, if I don't sleep through it.
