Finally, I know it took a while

    The code faults are:
P1141 - load calculation gross check implausible value
P0172 - fuel trim bank. 1 system to rich (intermittent)
P1570 - engine start blocked by immobiliser (intermittent)

And also the "depolution system is faulty"

Not sure if that helps at all?

    Cheers
  • P1141 - load calculation gross check implausible value this could be the maf sensor

P0172 - fuel trim bank. 1 system to rich (intermittent) due to this been intermitent it may well be a lambada sensor thats at fault

P1570 - engine start blocked by immobiliser (intermittent) this could be the chip in your key

all of the above are just things i would look at 1st, i am not saying these are definite faults unique to your car.

I dove a C5 with this fault for 3 years.
Seems a common Citroen fault message.

Thanks again everyone, and apologies is was long winded

I was doing it all 3rd party, as my sisters is heavily pregnant and not having a great time as it is, I wanted to take the stress away by doing what I could my end.

Luckily my sister contacted her again, and said, under the Consumer act she would insist on a refund, rather than a trade in.

The seller contacted her today and said that was fine, so seemingly it's been resolved

The main concern wasn't the faults as such, it was really the car driving erratically, randomly accelerating etc I'm not sure if any of the faults listed would have caused that or not, but really, it seems like the best option was to ask for a refund at this stage

Thanks again for all the constructive replies, appreciate it
