Depends what service was used. If it was RM Tracked (unlikely for a private individual) you don't necessarily have to sign. What other services will show online proof of delivery without having to sign?

Most of Hermes/Collect Plus and the other cheap carriers (they nearly all have an option to add a signature for a fee, but it isn't required under £750 on Ebay).

I always thought you did, but either way point stands if they cant prove it was returned there may be an easy way out

OP has the package any tracking details?

My point exactly. The OP doesn't say if the item was sent back tracked. You jumped to the conclusion that a signature was needed and it could have sent the OP down the wrong track.

Don't they still ask for your name and enter in their device?

OP needs to tell us which service it was used. My guess is that the buyer is stupid enough to have sent it by RM standard!

No, they don't ask for anything. The parcel is scanned by the driver and either left with the house occupant or in a safeplace*

*dubious as to how safe with some carriers.

We won't know how it was returned until the OP clarifies.

    No, but you highlighted this:
but I haven't signed. They just dropped it in the letterbox. So what she posted didn't require a signature.

Sort of infers you were talking about a signature.....;)

It is moot until the OP confirms what has happened with this return anyhow..

    Delivered!
    Delivered m!rcius 9.

My flat has got the bells dead. And the postman knowa this as he's a friend of mine.

They always leave the package at the delivery office because they never able to deliver it coz no one opens the door. Hence I always get everything delivered to my mums.

She used the post I paid via Ebay. It costed me 2.99£. Whereas my package when I shipped it costed 7.90£~ to get delivered. Although I used insurance and special delivery as you seen her video.

Add up: however today my staircase is under painting, and one of the painters has picked it probabaly and left it for me. Hence, I cannot prove that I received it:-)

She's got proof of delivery I'm afraid so that's a dead end.

Anyway, I'll bring the package to the post office tomorrow, get it scaled. It wasn't as heavy as the one I posted.

Also, I have called Apple and they refused to do anything. I have spoken to a manager and she said they cannot give me even the email address which the phone is locked to by iCloud.

If I could get that address, it might be her's. Than that would be a clear win.

Also the manager just quickly told me, to tell Three to get the phone blocked. She didn't want to give me out this either, but kindly whispered into the phone:-)
