If I get the IMEI blocked, she can say that she did receive the phone say sorry and all that, but the phone is not working now because thr seller blocked it. That would give her some reason to ask for a refund.
If she did then you can get it unblocked again, and anyway she wouldn't be able to say that as the case would be closed and she couldn't open another one0 -
But okay guys, I'll take the advice and get it blocked.0

Thanks guys, I appreciate it. I'll write back once I'm home. The reason why I didnt want to upload the video is that my video clearly shows my IMEI and serial number. On the selling pictures, I have erased these two so even non-buyers couldn't scam me.
I personally upload the IMEI in a photo to a message to buyers on eBay, so I have it covered if any come back...0 -
Looking at the two postcodes (buyers and sellers) on the Youtube video, it appears you are just 19 miles (45 minutes) away from each other.
For such a short distance, why would anyone opt to send a £600 item by post and run the risk of something like this happening when it would be far safer to accept cash on delivery and ensure the item reaches the buyer in perfect condition?
You can't really predict who is going to make a purchase on eBay, how did the seller know the person who bought the phone was going to live 19 miles away!0 -

Well you would make that deduction after the buyer has committed to the purchase and eBay has forwarded contact/postal details. It would then be a case of contacting the buyer and making them aware of the close proximity and asking to deliver the item in person.
I do appreciate there have been various robberies performed in this manner though and London is probably not the safest of areas to undertake such a transaction - an alternative would be to meet with the buyer in a public place such as a shopping centre although this doesn't help the seller now the problem has arisen.0 -
Who's to say the op didn't try to scam the buyer and the buyer has faked reopening the package to produce evidence of it after the event.0

Seller could have had eBay settings to immediate payment, thus buyer bought phone and paid with PayPal, therefore delivering phone in person would not be ideal!0 -
I am 'on the fence' as to who the innocent party is. Without evidence from the buyer, it's all a bit one sided.0

If that was the case, the buyer should have used her 'husband' or someone else to video the opening of the package, because that video she uploaded to YouTube is just pointless. Or she could buy a tripod on eBay!0 -
Perhaps she was panicking , when she'd discovered the wrong phone. That would explain why she seemed so stressed at that point. If that was the case, the buyer should have used her 'husband' or someone else to video the opening of the package, because that video she uploaded to YouTube is just pointless. Im not convinced by some of the ops answers.0
