Ebay buyer scam, £600, new iPhone,

If I had been opening the parcel, expecting one thing and it turned out to be totally different and inferior, I would be shouting/screaming/cursing!!! Why is she so calm? Almost as if she was expecting something different???
My thoughts exactly. She is clearly scamming the seller. If you regularly made videos like that, you would perhaps at least talk, 'Here I am unboxing my new iPhone I bought from eBay!.'0 -
Appreciate the help guys, the first thing I will do when I get home is to copy that movie. I do not reply to her from now on either.
I could grab a few lads from my friends and go and smash her door, but that would make me lose my job.
I want everything to be proceesed fairly and thats it. I can actually pay off another 100£ to Barclays and they would send me another phone, but why would I go that way. I dont want this idiot to cause anyone else loss, especially not to my insurance company.
I've downloaded the video, just in case she removes it before you get a chance to copy it.0 -
Thanks guys, I appreciate it. I'll write back once I'm home. The reason why I didnt want to upload the video is that my video clearly shows my IMEI and serial number. On the selling pictures, I have erased these two so even non-buyers couldn't scam me.0

In your op you say " she also carries a Bulgarian name, has got a Facebook not much in used since 2010 and a very basic website for her "job" where she is a child-minder in London. (yeah, hard to argue with someone with a clear CRB)"
But youre HUngarian , you live in a flat over a bookies? You are short of money .You are 23?0 -
Looking at the two postcodes (buyers and sellers) on the Youtube video, it appears you are just 19 miles (45 minutes) away from each other.
For such a short distance, why would anyone opt to send a £600 item by post and run the risk of something like this happening when it would be far safer to accept cash on delivery and ensure the item reaches the buyer in perfect condition?0 -

It surely would make sense to do that, so that both parties are completely satisfied.0 -

Just get in touch with Apple or your insurance company who issued the phone and block IMEI, it'll take them a couple of minutes to do it.0 -
What you forget is that Paypal is advertised as the safest service to use. But dont worry, I have now filed a claim to the court and paid in £60. Also if I would take cash only and wait for people to show up at my home, that would just lead to maybe a robbery of mine or not even selling the item.
And yes you are right, I shouldnt judge her by the online stuff I found. Just like because I live above a bookies doesn't make me a bad seller.0 -
If I get the IMEI blocked, she can say that she did receive the phone say sorry and all that, but the phone is not working now because thr seller blocked it. That would give her some reason to ask for a refund.0
