Collective tariffs don't appear in search results on comparison sites, except of course the one they have arranged and are promoting themselves at the time.
But you may be able to work around this a bit by pretending it is already your current tariff in the drop down list, and then comparing all the direct company offerings back to it.
This works on the UK Power site, which seems to list plenty of old and current collective deals to select as your current one. I haven't tested this method elsewhere. (I use that one as it will search without requiring you to sign up, though it's probably not the only one).0 -
Thanks, my BG collective with cheapenergyclub only appeared on the MSE comp site but so far I can t see this Eon collective appearing on Money Supermarket comp site even tho I ve listed my current tariff as an Eon V18.

What's the current timescale for these moneysupermarket switch requests to be processed by E.ON both for existing and new customers?
I'll answer my own question - less than 2 days for existing customers.
I applied via moneysupermarket's website @ 2.25pm on 8th March and I've just received an email from E.ON @ 1.30pm 10th March and E.ON MSM Fixed 1 Collective March 2016 is now showing in my E.ON online account with the start date backdated to the 8th March as expected.
For new customers I would expect it to be somewhere around 17 days including the obligatory 14 day cooling off period.0 -

A no-brainer then...grumpycrab wrote: »I've just applied for the switch as a current EON customer. The email from MSM says upto 6 weeks but that's obviously for new customers. (includes a 2 week cooling off period which I guess applies to all customers.)
Hi grumpycrab
As an existing E.ON customer, a change to the E.ON MSM Collective tariff should show on your account within 3 working days often sooner. Similarly with online accounts. The new tariff should show in about the same time. You can also change between different E.ON products without picking up an exit fee.

I changed in February with the MSE Big switch but now find MS March big switch would save me £60.00. I have not received my £15.00 cash back from the Feb switch but I applied yesterday for the latest one.
I am sure this will stop me getting my cash back by switching so soon.
Hi Mable
As above, you can switch between any of the products we have available at any time without picking up an exit fee. Don't know about the cashback though. One for Dan?

Just a quick question for the Eon rep.
I am presently an Eon customer on the Vi9 tariff.
The email address that I used to sign up to the MSM collective switch yesterday and the email address I have registered presently with Eon on the V19 tariff are different.(all other details are identical).
Will this matter at all regarding switching tariff, which email address would Eon default to for future correspondence?
Thanks in advance
Tony
Hi Tony
This won't matter as far as the switch is concerned. We'll use the email address advised by MSM to contact you about the switch. After this, though, we'll use the email address registered with your online account for future contact.
Hope this helps Tony.

Hi youravinalarrrf
For existing E.ON customers changing to the E.ON MSM Collective tariff, the switch should show on their accounts within 3 working days. Often sooner as in your case. Similarly with online accounts. The new tariff should show in about the same time. As you say, details are backdated to the time MSM let us know about the switch.
It takes a bit longer for customers joining us from another supplier. These accounts are usually loaded on to our systems within 4 working days. Again, sometimes sooner. The actual switch, though, will complete within about two and half weeks. Following this, it'll be longer before all the details come over from the previous supplier. During this time, although we'll be supplying from the switch date advised, accounts won't be fully live. Once all the information is through, it'll be backdated to the advised start date. Timescales depend on how quickly the information is transferred.
Online accounts are also temporarily suspended until this information is received. Customers will be able to log in to their online accounts but won't be able to use some of the tools.
Hope this answers your questions youravinalarrrf. Let me know if you need any more information as happy to help.

No, not regional sacsquacco. It's open to customers in all GB areas provided they have the right type of meter (conventional single rate or Economy 7). Details, though, are only available through MSM. As it's a collective tariff, we're not allowed any involvement until the information has been sent to us by MSM and loaded on to our systems. As above, this is usually within 3 working days for product switches between E.ON tariffs and 4 working days for a change of supplier.
For a change of supplier, progress can be monitored through an online tool called 'Track My Switch.'
Hope this helps sacsquacco.
