OK, I will give them a call. Thanks

Just a quick heads up redboat. You'll need to phone MSM. As this is a collective tariff, our advisors won't have any details. We're not allowed any involvement until the switch has gone through.

Sorry if you already know this redboat.

I had the email, but could NOT see the eon deal this morning. However, tried again this evening and it now appears. (Saves me £23/year)

Just double-checked myself and gas is 20% cheaper (my current tariff is MSE collective EON comparing with this new MSM collective with EON). A no-brainer then...

I changed in February with the MSE Big switch but now find MS March big switch would save me £60.00. I have not received my £15.00 cash back from the Feb switch but I applied yesterday for the latest one.

I am sure this will stop me getting my cash back by switching so soon.

For anyone who is struggling to see this latest deal:-
1.I phoned up this morning - MSM are apparently having difficulties with some email addresses being ratified. HOWEVER that wasn't my problem:o
    2. Make sure that the link in the email opens the right MSM account !! Somehow we had ended up with two MSM accounts with two different email addresses -altho' I clicked the link in the received email, it was opening the MoneySupermarket page for the other account,so wasn't showing the EON deal:) I had to log out, log back in with the second email address (had to use the forgotten password link:o) then do the comparison, whereupon the EON deal magically appeared with savings of ~ £79pa vs the EHL deal I'd switched to only 3 weeks ago!!
Filled out the form and "switch" is underway!!
For info. GAS EHL deal 2.354 p vs MSM deal 2.31p
ELEC. EHL deal 11.025p vs MSM deal 9.828p
    This is for CF (CARDIFF)postcodes:T

Just a quick question for the Eon rep.

I am presently an Eon customer on the Vi9 tariff.

The email address that I used to sign up to the MSM collective switch yesterday and the email address I have registered presently with Eon on the V19 tariff are different.(all other details are identical).

Will this matter at all regarding switching tariff, which email address would Eon default to for future correspondence?

    Thanks in advance
    Tony

What's the current timescale for these moneysupermarket switch requests to be processed by E.ON both for existing and new customers?

I've just applied for the switch as a current EON customer. The email from MSM says upto 6 weeks but that's obviously for new customers. (includes a 2 week cooling off period which I guess applies to all customers.)

  • So far this tariff is nt appearing on the MSM website or any other comp site I ve looked at. Could it be a regional offer only ? I m in South Yorks
