One evening the two trustees came round and demanded I leave as I am not aloud to be there (no where in the rules does it say I cannot be there during the day) when I merely was just waiting for a parcel for my nan. Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.

No. These people are horrible and bullies and quite frankly I don't think my 70 year old nan should have to be treated like this.
You mean your being treated?
Your nan is living there and not you.
What behaviour is affecting your nan needing to be admitted to a mental health unit?
If your nan is in hospital due to mental health, perhaps you should consider moving her as she doesn't own the place, you can't change the owners, you can complain all you want, management stays the same, maybe different faces."It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"

It says this under guests..
"Neither friends nor relatives should be permitted to stay as house guests for more than fourteen days without written permission from the Trustees. No residents shall be permitted to let or part with the possession of the room or rooms allotted to him or her, or, except with the special permission of the Trustees, to allow any person to share the occupation of the same or any part thereof.
Those rules were somewhat carelessly written is my first thought. That being the "more than fourteen days" - would that be 14+ days in one month or one year or some longer period? I presume they mean "more than fourteen days within the same year"?
But - I see no wording whatsoever that regulates how often people can "visit". So I would interpret daytime visiting as being totally unrestricted and the trustees are trying it on if they are trying to say they have the right to restrict that. The rules don't seem to allow for that.
I would interpret that rule as meaning = If someone stays overnight for 14 nights, then they must leave again before a 15th night happens (and presume they were referring to within the space of a year). As the tenant - I would be keeping diary entries to prove that someone had stayed 13 nights in 2015 and that meant there was one night still "spare" in 2015 that I could have someone stay overnight for (be it the same person or a different person). I would certainly have whatever visitors I pleased whenever I pleased during daytime/evening hours - as the rules clearly do not forbid that.0 -
I have no idea how I go about doing that!
Ring the local council on Monday and ask which housing association in your area they refer people to and go to their offices and ask for a form.
You may even be able to find that information online.:footie:Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)

Some couriers do deliver parcels up to quite late of an evening - I've experienced that personally.0 -
They seem to be one step up from the Workhouse
I would try to get your nan into a small local authority or housing association sheltered property.0 -
Follow-up thought being that in your nan's position - as well as trying to get rehoused somewhere else, I would be keeping a diary of what visitors I was having/purpose/times of visit/etc.
This being to be in a position to be able to prove that no-one has "stayed more than 14 nights".
My diary would read for instance:
- 1400-1600, 23 January - Friend Gladys visited
- 1100-1300, 24 January - Friends Dot and Vera visited
and so on.0 -
You put cctv in student halls of residence to monitor riotous behaviour, drunken vandalism and theft.
You put cctv in elderly accommodation to protect the residents, either from themselves (mindlessly wandering around at 2am), leaving doors unlocked or from intruders.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
