Almshouses have put CCTV cameras which looks onto my door!

Hi and I hope someone can help me!
My nan lives in an Almshouse which is a charitable organisation which provides housing for elderly and the low income. She has been there for 6 years and really does love her home, however not the "trustees" who look after it.
They are terrible people. There are approx 4 trustees, two of which are the main cooperates who have let them selves into my nans friends property before, we complained to them and the solicitors who look after it and they denied this - goes to show the type of people they are!
They have a set of rules in which you are not aloud to be away for more than 2 weeks at a time, and not aloud friends/relatives to stay overnight without telling the warden (there is no warden anymore retied) or for longer than 2 weeks in a year. My nan went on holiday last year and I went in to her property a couple of times to water plants, pickup post and wait for delivery.
One evening the two trustees came round and demanded I leave as I am not aloud to be there (no where in the rules does it say I cannot be there during the day) when I merely was just waiting for a parcel for my nan. They were rude and quite intimidating and actually held the door open and wouldn't let me shut it. We later had a meeting with them and the solicitors regarding this and they said that I was staying at the property and living there (which I wasn't). Basically nothing got done about it and they even gave my nan a warning.
In January this year they then put CCTV cameras all around the buildings, and one camera facing on my doorway all the way down to the entrance of the almshouses. I have contacted them about this and they say it is for security and safeguards which I am fine with, but I am not happy with it on my nans doorway as I feel the trustees are spying on her and so does she. My nan is now in hospital because of severed stress and depression, largely caused by the trustees and there disgusting behaviour.
I know she does not have a lot of rights there but was wondering if anyone knew anything about the almshouses? Can they actually put up CCTV? Can they use it against us? What happens if they do try to evict her for something? She has no where else to go and at 73 years old, this is not what she wants!
Hopefully someone can help!

Change the door locks and don't answer the door.
They won't try to evict. It's far too costly with no real benefit for the beneficiaries of the trust. What sort of tenancy does your nan have?:footie:Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

I am not too sure! They have said things like 'it is not your home' to her and are like bullies!0 -

Apologies, I can't read the paperwork from here:
Having done that nan will be in a position to make any complaint (or not..).
Please let us know what sort of tenancy agreement it is (Secure, Assured, a license...)0 -

I have looked at the rules and paperwork and it does not say anything about what type of occupancy she has. Just a list of rules and a handbook that she has signed.0 -
Look again:
What do the rules say about putting up CCTV etc??
If there really is nothing, nan should ask trustees what sort of tenancy she has..
If nan is otherwise happy there she would be advised consider avoiding doing something that make them want to evict her, regardless of who is right or wrong.0 -
Personally I'd LOVE it if somebody paid for CCTV watching my house. However, I can understand that if these things are done TO you, without your knowledge or consent, especially when you're elderly (and becoming more set in your ways/convinced people are spying on you) it must be very distressing.
What do the other old dears there think?0 -

Have asked some of her friends there and they also disagree with the cameras and back us 100%. They also do not like the trustees!0
