  • Nooooo! Stop! I'm laughing too much!
How on earth did they get a live mouse?!

Evening folks, Welcome to Buffy and MessyTessie and welcome back NewMrsL and Denise and Maralum and anyone else I missed while wizzing through today's posts at high speed. Busy, chatty, tea guzzling Flyers that you are.
Pen-Pen, you can't post a pic like that and not tell me what it is and how to make it, It looks absolutely gorgeous! Please?
Becca, wowzer, keep at it. Seriously impressed!

    List time..
Wash load out. Holes in kitchen walls filled. Bit of sanding of paintwork and a mamoth clear up done.
I'm pacing myself or I'll start bodging.
Going to Iron tonight while Silent Thingy is on.

Tomorrow (I'm still 'off list') I'll just do the floors and quick dust then some more of the kitchen.. maybe start the undercoating..anything to delay papering the walls.. Oh and I'll try and fit in cleaning the windows inside in every room. Nothing like living in fantasy land eh!

  • Evening Everyone!
Back to work proper today - 2 days before the hoardes of children descend! School would be lovely without the little angels!!!

    Been a good fly-baby today:
Changed bed and washed/dried/ironed old set
    2nd set of washing on
HM tuna/pasta served to family (ready as DH came in from work)
Requested new Boots card (old one bent when DD1 sat on it)
    Returned forms requesting postal votes
Booked ANOTHER eye test for Saturday
Got DD2's uniform ready for her new childrens morning tomorrow
No ironing to do - as finished it yesterday whilst watching 'The Queen' HOORAY

    Still got to:
    Peel veg for tea tomorrow
Make packed lunches for DH and me
Get out 'proper' work outfit (parents around tomorrow)
Set timer for 15 minute kitchen blitz (probably level 2 ish)

Hugs to those in need - hot chocolate to those who want!
  • Michelle, glad you survived day 1

I've been busy - cooked tea, washed up and tidied kitchen. Made tomorrow's tea ready to go in the SC before w*** tomorrow. All 3 of us have bags packed for tomorrow, and I've got my lunch box and hot mug ready to fill :T

My paperwork pile is smaller, and some is filed, but still plenty to do. Did correspondence as I went along, so made phone calls, wrote DD's school trip cheque, rearranged an appointment, paid my newspaper bill.

Will pop back during next couple of days, w*** permitting.

ditto. I think schools are such sitting ducks for "specialist systems" our guys are good, but so over stretched cos school is too tight to pay out for proper help.

learning objectives.... I remember them..... I have a year 7 form so I am looking forward to tomorrow, first day at BIG school.

have put more washing on. Ironing pile may attempt to take over the world at this rate...
