I'm off to make banana loaf (which is fool proof), and experiment into banana and choc chip muffins using loaf mix and... Twinks Hobnobs.

My MIL doesn't send cards either usually.. DD2 never got one as usual.. it is DS1's birthday on the 29th so we shall see. We never see or hear from BIL (thank the good Lord!!) so I don't have that hassle and SIL only comes to brings pressies on 'occasions' so I can about cope with 10 visits a year (8 childrens birthdays, easter and christmas!) At least SIL knows their birthdays and ags and she even gets their names right!!!

I have got DS2's uniform ready.. he can't do his tie so is having a clip-on one.. and the school can lump it if they don't like it!! I even ironed his shirt seeing as I was pressing DD4's pinafore and trousers so I can hem them.

I need to stitch 2 buttons on DS1's blazer..

and first of all I am going to the shop for MUNCHIES .. I'll do the sewing which watching a film.. we have 'surf's up' so I might be tempted by that! OR I may nip to my mothers and get Harry Potter..:D

ditto. I think schools are such sitting ducks for "specialist systems" our guys are good, but so over stretched cos school is too tight to pay out for proper help.

learning objectives.... I remember them..... I have a year 7 form so I am looking forward to tomorrow, first day at BIG school.

have put more washing on. Ironing pile may attempt to take over the world at this rate...

I know network problems in school are a pain but as the OH of an IT technician in a secondary school I feel it necessary to point out, without any offence meant, that they're only human too and it's usually the LEA's lack of funding to the school which keeps the resources either poor or non-existant! Plus most of them don't get the school holidays "off" (I know teachers don't either but at least they don't have to show up for work every day) and work like maniacs to get problems fixed without kids or teachers there. But thats just my opinion based on my experiences. Oh and the stress levels for those poor technicians goes through the roof as more people come back to school and everyone wants their problems fixing at the same time ;):o:o I know my OH is always stressed out the first two weeks of the new school year

Off to listen to music on Facebook some more, after I've cleared the rubbish from eating off the desk :o

So, anyone for pull apart flapjacks?

What? I never said hobnobs, I am sure I said flapjacks!

Either way its still lovely, used muscavado sugar and caster, so it tastes rich.
