shhhh.. they were supposed to be hobnobs....
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/...made+hobnob s
make tiny balls, mine were way too big (golf ball sized!)
I used 4oz muscavado and 4oz caster, because I love muscavada, but they do taste treacly.0 -
I'd eat some of that, even if it is more flapjack than hobnob :rotfl:
nicki - not commenting on schools everywhere, our school has 2 guys, one has just left our school, so 17. The other guy is very early 20s, and in the summer i know they play frisby/read harry potter, and don't work that hard so that is why i was criticising. E.g the computer system was updated in the hols, and they forgot to reinstall the printers on any computer in school, and the staff codes changed, so some staff could still log on as before, but others had their passwords reset, so chaos as no consistency
Anyway, they had best sort me out tomorrow or i will be getting my HOD to go to the head and complain.
List for tomorrow is long as usual. Pleased i did some cleaning today, and will hopefully manage that every day but i will also need to be playing with charlie and keeping up with school work and here.

Tia_mai,My first couple of goes at the Hobnobs weren't disimilar! Currently scoffing some from the freezer (defrosted obviously) that are more like lumpy shortbread too. Just don't tell anyone what they're supposed to be. When you get them right though 'chocolatise' them; Worth persisting!
Ironing done and I believe I'm up to date for the day.
Good luck for the first day backers tomorrow. Me? Super early start so that my 18m trip to work doesn't take an hour now it's term time again. One debt v 100 days Part 14 £400/£400

phew.
well I emptied the dishwasher, did and dried (!) two more loads of washing, I put away everything that didn't need ironing(nighties, undies, towels, ) and now have a much less threatening pile, it may run for local council rather than take over the world. that will be done tomorrow.
I also wiped down the cabinet doors in the kitchen hoovered, fed animals got clothes ready for tomorrow. must remember to take microwave meal, crisps, apple and cake(!) for break and lunch tomorrow. bag is packed tho.
just got to shine my sinkand go to bed, bliss.
night all

eveniing all
no doubt most of you are in bed by now. haven't done much more in the way of flying since my last post but the place looks fine at the moment. having a clean kitchen floor makes it look so much better!
have just watched 'how to look good naked' on demand for the first time - wow, fantastic!
went to tesco after my meeting tonight, which is always a mistake late on - spent £50 including 3 pairs of trousers and a skirt so not bad, though i had promised myself i'd only buy fresh bits this month. also snuck in some fish and other bits that were either healthy (put on 3lb at ww and am determined to lose it this week) or convenient & healthy (i.e. fishfingers!)
will post my list for tomorrow in a minute as need to go back to the first page! hugs to all those with kids going back to school.Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -

Yeah, got up a bit earlier so I can make a start on the living room, how sad is that??!!! And I have dishes to wash from last night. I am working all day and not in the mood to come home to all this mess..
Good luck pigpen and DS2, first day at High School, how exciting (my DD2 started 2 weeks ago and is loving it so far)
Good luck to all others who are also going to school today, kids and teachers. Teachers amongst us flyers, I think you do an admirable job, I surely couldn't do it, day in day out with the little [STRIKE]horrors[/STRIKE] darlings.
Better to do something then, before getting the kids up.. DD2 is easy to get up, jumps out of bed, hugs her mummy, says love you. DD1 on the other hand, pretends I don't exist at the side of her bed, grumps and shouts at me and finally stomps out of bed, muttering under her breath
Have a nice day everyone, looking forward to reading all the posts tonight.
Happy flying  :grouphug:0
