Welcome to the weekly Flylady thread. If you need help organising your week when it comes to housework, or just the motivation to do the dreaded housework tasks you have to do, come and join us, hopefully make it a little easier. You never know, you might start to enjoy it!
Following requests to start things steadier for new members who did not realise the tasks list wasn’t a must do, just an encouragement. There will now be level 1, 2 and 3. Level 1 being very basic it has been requested that this is just one task per day, level 2 in the middle, up to 3 which is more advanced and time consuming. If you want to do level 2 you add the tasks on level 1 with the level 2 tasks, if you want to do level 3 you add the tasks on, easy peasy. Choose a level to aim for but be realistic, if you’ve got a busy day on or are just starting etc aim for level one, if you get higher then great, if not then not to worry its only suggestions. Every room comes back around next week. Trust me some days I'll only be doing level one myself.
THESE LISTS ARE ONLY SUGGESTIONS AND NOT A MUST DO LIST, ALWAYS WELCOME TO POST AND FOLLOW YOUR OWN.
Also adding a declutter mission each day. Another one where it’s up to you if you want to do it or if you need to. This follows requests from members who are looking to declutter. Fling boogies, hotspot clearing, cupboard sorts, drawer sorts etc will all be on this list. Any problems with this of any suggestions do please let me know.
A few of the basics before we start the week
Hotspots are any areas which if one thing gets put there loads of other things follow!
Daily routines are anything you need to do on a daily basis like washing, swish and swipe kitchen and bathroom, ironing, making beds, vacuuming high traffic areas, making meals etc
Nighttime routines are all things which make getting ready in the morning easier, preparing clothes for the next day, making lunches, swish & swipes of the kitchen and tidying the living room before you go to bed plus personals like shower/brush teeth etc.
27 Fling Boogie - stick on some loud music, grab a binbag and whizz around the house finding 27 items that can go out with the rubbish, recycling, for charity shop, basically anything that will stop it cluttering your home.
Swish and swipe means have a quick wipe over an area such as a sink or toilet to prevent the build up of dirt. This is usually done on a daily basis
Ok here goes this week!

OOh I am getting good at these lazy days. Pity its Monday again tomorrow ...
An alien has obviously abducted my husband and left me with a new improved model as he has been fab all week. He got them up this morning and I slept for 4 HOURS - heaven. He made us all HM pizza for lunch, and then we all went to a forest park type place, we took DS bike which he is learning to ride, and then DH played with them in the massive play area there whilst I sat and drank coffee - that we took in a flask so we spent 0p :T
We are doing a roast between us for tea, its almost ready, and I've made potato, swede and carrot gratin for tomorrow's tea. And we're having Angel delight for pudding - chocolate - mmmmm - except I accidentally put too much milk in so have had to make 2 packsfor 4 of us :j
Planning a lits of errands for tomorrow, and an update on my mega list.
Talk later chaps

Evening all. Hope everyones doing well.
Loved all the photos on last weeks thread. Good luck Becca. We wont mind you ranting at us. Hugs to all that need them and want them.
I am going to make more of an attempt to get on with the keeping on top of things. I sort of slid off last week. Dont think ive been feeling myself, feeling rather lethargic and drained, oh well. I had random weird dreams of destroying my ex last night/this am . Didnt really enjoy that as im still trying to get over and be pleasant (even if i dont ever want to see him again! (and wouldnt mind if he was wiped off this planet!;)))
So im going to try and get into a routine better. Im going to aim this week to:- Get lunches ready the night before.
- Make sure the house is tidy before i go to bed.
- Swish and Swipe.
- Get everything sorted for the day ahead.
Level One
Clean floors - i WILL mop it!!! I keep hoovering but not mopping
Level Two
Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces
Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front
Level Three
[strike]checking for cobwebs on way round[/strike]did it today
Wash the washer drawer out if it's gunky
Clean oven if you didn’t do it last week
Extra Mission
Choose one or more of:- Clean cupboard door fronts and fronts of appliances
- Wipe window sills and clean windows in these rooms
- Defrost freezer if required, rearrange and see what you have in there that needs using up
- Sort through storage containers in kitchen, fling any tubless lids or lidless tubs if they can't be used for anything, anything broken or past it's use by!
Right well i need to finish stripping my bed and washing it. Then i need to microwave my soup i made on Friday and have a shower and then i can pile into bed. See you all tomorrow, hopefully more organised.
OOOOH yes and put the bins outthanks for the reminder!!!

Ooooh I'm going to be a flylady monster this coming week!
To keep myself busy and to battle the dreaded withdrawel symptoms if anything!! :rotfl:
Although I'm quite busy tomorrow.
Pick up squirt from babysitter after work at 1
Off to the shops to buy my niece a birthday present AND stick it in the post straight away. Only hoping it will still get there on time..

Then home on time by 2:30 to catch the school lot coming home.
Then into the kitchen it is!
Clean all apliences on worksurface

outside of fridge (did the inside before shop on saturday)
clean inside the top cabinets (maybe even bottom ones if time)
clean dw filter
clean bin
clean all cabinet fronts
clean cooker
clean shelves and chuck what doesn't belong on there. (strange how places that are set out to hold only pretty ornaments tend to attract crap..)
Clean floor
Cook the dinner
and clean up after dinner.
Dailies:
toilet
DW
hoover high traffic area's
Tire out husky puppy
Entertain children
punish 11 yr old DD2 (ýes I'm nasty I know)

Keep family relatively organised.
And the beauty about it will be, that I won't have to stop every half hour to go sit outside for a smoke!! WHOOHOOO!!! (yeah keep telling yourself that honey)
JillD good to hear from you! I was already wondering about you!
Lil_me don't admire me just yet. I've been here many times before, convinced I was going to quit and failed miserably. (like sneeking around like a child for not wanting to admit I was smoking again..) But I'm dead set on giving it my best go now.
Good night everybody. Have a great sleep. Update tomorrow!
