Good morning ladies
I've been joining in for the last few weeks and I have to say thank you for helping feel less guilty about the amount of cleaning I do (or don't do
).
It's the last day of the holidays here so I'm off out for the day but I still hope to get the kitchen, dining room and conservatory done, even if it's just a quickie.
My de-cluttering is going in phases, the only problem being after I've de-cluttered I usually have a pile of mess that needs a new home, I should really just stick it straight in the bin, but honest the house is looking better and I feel better about it, so thank you again.0 -
so far:
everyone washed, breakfasted and dressed
microwave cleaned
animals fed
checked emails and banking
major job for today:
check through photos on pc, delete any dont want and save the rest to disk.November NSD's - 70 -
Morning all :hello: Welcome to the newbies, and kicks for all those who need them
Just 24 hours and 15 minutes to go :dance: I feel terrible being this excited/happy about DD going back to school but I really need the space and peace on my own to sort my head out. I haven't had proper "I don't need to do anything or be anywhere" time on my own since me and OH split up 3 weeks ago. Even when he took DD away with him, I had friends about and things to do and we had a row just minutes before he left so it will be nice to sit down and just think things through
Today I'm going to aim to get todays list and tomorrows done, so I really can take tomorrow off for meSo I'll work on todays list, and then copy the livingroom list over from last weeks thread once I've completed the kitchen. I really want to get back to the room a day instead of a mad dash on a Friday clean
Dailies- Beds
- Bathroom S&S
- Dishes
- Uniform/bags out for tomorrow
- Packed Lunches for tomorrow (going to start making one for me as well so if I decide I want to go out I won't have to buy one
:money: )
- Level One
- Clean floors
- Level Two
- Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces
- Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front
- Level Three
- Wash the washer drawer out if it's gunky
- Clean oven if you didn’t do it last week
- Extra Mission
- Choose one or more of:
- Clean cupboard door fronts and fronts of appliances
- Wipe window sills and clean windows in these rooms
- Defrost freezer if required, rearrange and see what you have in there that needs using up
- Sort through storage containers in kitchen, fling any tubless lids or lidless tubs if they can't be used for anything, anything broken or past it's use by!
- Choose one or more of:
- Laundry - bedding & towels
- Ironing - must empty basket today!
- Label DD's blouses (I just write on the label, saves sitting there stitching in the name tags PLUS DD's name is so long I don't think it would fit on those stitched ones you can order :rotfl: )
- Update Money & print monthly report for August. I know it's going to be BAD.
- Baking? At some point I need to do some baking as requests for HM hobnobs are already starting again
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Oh Nicki, you lucky blighter, my countdown's still at 48 hours!
I love my boy, but I can't wait for some calm to wash his grungies in peace. :j
Am typing/feeding at the same time, so please forgive typos.
We have breastfeeding club and baby clinic this afternoon, so not much will get done today. The house isn't looking too bad, but not up to level three gorgeousness.
Can't wait to get back to normal...0 -

Good morning everyone! I'm back in after a week off. We spent much of last week going out, and a bit of Flying in the evenings. Small Penguins are back at school tomorrow, so today will be finding PE kit and sharpening pencils :j That has to be my favourite job
I've cleaned the kitchen floor, emptied the bins, and have some sausages on for the small penguins to make omelettes once they surface. Corned beef hash for tea, and a sausage casserole to prepare to go in the SC tomorrow while I'm at w***.
Michelle - hope you have a good day
JillD - are you wanting that baby to be early  Get a rest planned into that list :T
Have a great day, everyone!
