    hello all

    have i missed the tea?

back from OHs, later than planned as quick cuppa with friend turned into 3 hours as life is hard for her at the moment! was sooooo hungry as only got back at 3.30pm and hadn't eaten since 9, but i refused to pay inflated prices for sandwiches on the motorway!

i have to leave for weightwatchers in an hour and have a meeting straight after so this is my plan until then:

    cuppa
    email
make some tuna pasta to take for dinner as won't have time to get home
    wipe kitchen surfaces
    hoover kitchen
    mop kitchen floor
unpack case from weekend (if time)

    laters lovely ladies

Becca, would you be very upset if I said that day 3 was the hardest for me?

After 3 days all the nicotine is out your system if you go 'cold turkey'. Its then that you start to have little dizzy spells due to the extra oxygen your brain is getting!

Get something to fiddle with, an elastic band, a stone, anything! It helps give your hands something to do!

I quit on the 5th May 2001 and only had a relapse a few years later for 4 days!

Keeping busy is a big help too, your house will gleam!

I need to go make dinner early today, DS1 has Karate at 6pm and DS2 has to go to Grans first.

Better stick some more washing out too... I bleached towels, hope they look ok! Smell nice though!

  • Tea and cake, anyone? Small Penguins might have left a few slices :D

    Picture006-1.jpg

Got all the school preparation done. All uniform and PE kit found, and a few stragglers labelled. Shoes polished, pencils sharpened, bags packed.

I'm now in the spare room doing a huge declutter of all my papers. Big pile for recycling bin, and lots to be filed away. Making labels for storage boxes.

    See you all later.
