Sorry you have been ill rogues. Quite a few people around me have been struck down with the flu and barking cough.

Deleted_User my daughter has a couple of make up geek shadows and says they are comparable to MAC. She has put hers in a MAC palette that she owns. I think she priced up the Z palettes and said they were expensive,

The sun is shining and it's so nice not to have to go to work.

    INS
2 bubble bars courtesy of my mother who bought them for me from Germany, I did not tell her that lush produces things in the UK and then sends them to Germany.
    Sure maximum protection deodorant

    UUs
    34) elvive fibrology shampoo WMBA nice enough but I did not notice it thickening my hair.

    35) philosophy shower gel in snow angel WNBA I love the consistency of this shower gel but prefer other scents.

    36) body shop glazed Apple shower gel WNBA I find the scent too synthetic, it's okay as a shower gel but nothing special.

    37) BSC Pro cactus fed snail repair foam cleanser WNBA it's okay but I have others I prefer.

    38) lush green day bubble bar WNBA love the scent of this and good amount of bubbles.

    39) Guamm black pearl brightening serum WNBA it did not smell pleasant but did absorb quickly into the skin but I failed to see any benefit from using it.

    40) AHC the first caviar ampoule WNBA nice enough as long as you used it sparingly or my face became sticky.

    42) Juliet rose Madagascan vanilla hand made soap WNBA lovely consistency but the scent did not come through.

    43) snowcake soap WNBA still my favourite lush soap and the only one I will continue to buy.

    44) leaders sheet mask in wrinkle off WMBA this was a little strange as it was black in colour, it worked well and fitted well.

    45) lush golden wonder bath bomb WBA lovely display and scent.

    46) lush the magic of Christmas re-usable bubble bar WMBA I love the scent of this but as with others I don't find the bubble last as well as their normal bubble bars. I still have 3ish left.

    47) the enchanter bath bomb WBA it's like bathing in orange Popsicles water.

    48) tosowoong AC control treatment 100 ml WBA I used this as my morning face moisturiser and it has lasted 5/6 months used everyday. It absorbs quickly and I can apply make up over without any problems.

    49) Apple glycerine soap WNBA it did not do anything that you would expect a soap to do. No foam and my hands did not feel clean so I have grated it to use as washing powder.

    50) four seasons collagen lift wrinkle care mask WNBA rather large even for me. The scent was not offensive but not pleasant either.

    51) nature republic first essence mask WNBA

    52) the drummers drumming re-usable bubble bar WNBA it bubbled really well and gave me 8 baths but the scent was not for me.

    54) the yang gallery hyaluronic acid ampoule WMBA this was fairly cheap and was an okay product but I think I prefer hada labo lotion which absorbs much quicker and probably works out cheaper.

    55) innis free rice sheet mask WBA these have quite natural ingredients in them, the essence was milky and the sheet well saturated. Good shape and pleasant to use not sure if it was hydrating.

    56) neutrogena concentrated had cream WBA HG still the best hand cream I have ever used.

    57) pocket back in sweet strawberry WNBA in this scent but I do love the pocket backs, I still prefer the old packaging than the new.

    58) la Roche posay redermic C10 5 ml sample WMBA light in texture and very quickly absorbed. I don't know if it did much but I have another sample to use.

I am after a recommendation for a Matt clear nail polish. I have bought OPI matte top coat and I find it cracks less than 24 hours after applying wether I apply one or 2 coats. I need a clear matte nail polish that can stand up to being in washing up water and does not flake off. Any ideas?

Deleted_User - I have both the Naked Basics palettes and love them both, I also like the Too Faced Matte Eyes palette. Bobbi Brown does good matte eyeshadows but her shimmers are rubbish.

roguey - I have used Alpha H Liquid Gold and wouldn't put that stuff on my face ever again. I saw no good effects just pigmentation marks despite using sunscreen and it took over a year to get rid of them.

    I have some uu's

Crabtree & Evelyn La Source soap - I have a few of these but WNBA. When I have used my stash of bar soaps I will just be using handwash as it is quicker and easier to lather.

Elemis Skin Bliss Capsules x 60 - WNBA, I like the oil (particularly the rose one) but there is not really enough in each pod imo, plus I have come to the conclusion that they are very overpriced and that you are paying for the huge pot and the gimmick of all the little pods.

Thanks everyone for your advice re: my highlighter obsession! I don't know why it is that I love them so much. I mean I love make up full stop. But I seem to have less resistance when it comes to *needing* a highlighter than anything else.

VALM I love most of my highlighters, it's not that I feel like I haven't found "the one" yet. I just want them all!
TBH online purchasing is more my weakness than in-store purchasing. I watch a video or read a review and then before I've blinked I seem to find myself on the website to buy the product. This week I've cut right back on time spent on Youtube. If I don't know about a product then I can't want it!
I've also started just putting all the things I like, and might want onto a list on the laptop. That also seems to be helping curb my impulsive shopping habits. I just look at the list and know I can go find something if I do decide I want it after a long hard think.

I'm holding strong at the moment. I went and looked at my highlighters, and how full my make up drawers are (they are bursting at the seams, honestly), and that helped calm me down a bit. I've also sorted through some bits and gave them to my 13 year old niece, who also loves make up.

Thanks everyone for all your advice and help. I've been slow replying as the less time I'm on my laptop the less likely I am to end up shopping!

I'm looking forward to sorting out my 7 By Summer make up items to work on today. I saw Dolly84 list a Revlon Lip Butter, and I definitely think I will go for one as well. They are nice and moisturising and sheer, so I feel like I could definitely work through one in the next few months. It would be ideal for wearing to work and re-applying throughout the day.

I'm still plugging away but showing very little UU.
I have one IN - a exfoliating facial wash from Boots to test. Seems ok for first try.
    No UU so far.
I have a L'occtaine facial cream that has gone off, it's just a small tube so have repurposed it to my feet. Hopefully be finished tonight.

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend. :)

2 INs : Vidal Sassoon hair colours. Looks like these are on clearance at Sainsburys as they were £5 each until stock lasts.

Also repainted my nails and am wearing OPI Elephantastic Pink (still a fave) with OPI A Definite Moust Have on ring fingers.

L'occitane Shea Creme. WBA. Big fan of this range, love the smell.

Just saw that lush kitchen are doing the big pots of pot o gold shower jelly, I have a small 100g and it appeared to be discontinued. I love the scent so as they weren't sold out a 240g one from the kitchen might have fallen into my basket.

I've ordered 3 items - pot o gold, a 100g don't rain on my parade, and an Easter egg soap from the lush kitchen. Have also requested samples of the roulades so hoping they will include those as I'm interested but not going to buy if they are rubbish to use. I will declare them as ins when they actually arrive. and may pop into lush tomorrow as I've decided I reeeeally love the smell of yummy mummy to the point if they haven't sold the last few already I might just purchase the £9 one you only live once right. I also want the carrot bubble bars in my fave snowman scent before they sell out of those too.

Someone needs to cut up my debit card but I am going to see if I can persuade mum to let me have them for my birthday (2 weeks away) in which case she may put them away for me.

Should have a few outs tonight fingers crossed as I'm planning a bath... Weekend off work, my first one in ages, so pleased and no night shifts next week only day shifts so can finally catch up on my TV programmes (3 weeks worth) and use up some bubble bars/bombs.

I also have a boots gift card to use from Xmas I've hung onto it and I may go in and use it up as I do still really want the soap and glory fruitigo perfume which I am sure is exactly a tenner. I have a bit of loose change in my coat pockets which might add up to the £4 or so for the matching fruitigo body spray. Might get those as my Roberto cavalli spray should be a UU tomorrow :( one in one out is not so bad, right? :o
