    Female.

I would not be interested in a man who:

Wanted kids (I am happily child free, and so is my husband (!))
    Afraid of commitment
    Mummy's boy
    Aggressive
    Not very switched on
    Obese
    Arrogant
    Spendaholic

    Deal breakers:
    - laziness, no job, just sits about all day doing nothing. I had an ex-boyfriend like this once. Never again.
    - selfishness
    - bigot / racist
    - argumentative - my husband is the easiest going person ever, I just rant and rave at him and he knows just to let me get on with it and it will be over quicker!
    - lack of ambition
    - lack of personal hygiene
    - jealous and suspicious
    - not supportive
    - annoying

I'm sure there are tons more things, but I can't think of them all now!
  • - lack of ambition
I'm curious, what does this mean, in real terms?

To use me as an example, I have a job that I like and pays me enough. I don't want to be looking for a different job that pays more but might come with more demands and stress, nor do I want to go into managment, I'm good at doing, but rubbish at telling people to do things for me and to be honest why would I want to - I have a particular skill set to do a technical role that I can use effectively and I enjoy what I do.

I imagine I could make a lot more if I moved to London and worked there, but who wants that commute?

Does all this make me "unambitious."

Random but genuine question, but what does the sex of the person posting have to do with anything?

Are people being presumed to be in heterosexual relationships only?

    Interesting question.

Imagine if the boot were on the other foot in this example
    - argumentative - my husband is the easiest going person ever, I just rant and rave at him and he knows just to let me get on with it and it will be over quicker!

"My wife is the easiest going person ever. I just rant and rave at her and she knows just to let me get on with it and it will be over quicker"

There'd probably be post after post of people on here screaming that he's a chauvinist, and is being abusive, etc
left the forum due to trolling/other nonsense

For me, I would draw the line at:

    Smoking
    Extreme religious views
    Extreme right-wing political views
Faddy eaters (I'm not talking about vegetarians, but the sort who'll say things like "I don't like it, what is it?" without even trying something new)
    Racist
    Arrogant
    Bullying

I'm also not attracted to pretty boys, but prefer my men a bit more rugged.

I'm not totally heterosexual but I wouldn't be attracted to girly-girls who talk non-stop about makeup, jewellery and their nails. I also don't think I would be attracted to a woman who went out of her way to look like a man either.
  • Laughing at all the vegetarian haters. I'm veggy, do most of the cooking for us both, told I'm pretty good and rarely see an empty plate. Never bothered any past girl friends.

If you want a burger or bacon butty most veggies wont ( or shouldn't ) stop you as that's your choice. I'm sure you know how to get to burger king, just bring me back large fries!
