well interesting question, but my deal breakers are (beyond the obvious ones of liar and cheater, which i would expect would be on everyone's list)

stupid/low IQ - i want to be able to have a decent and engrossing conversation with someone, i don't mean not educated as i know people who do not have a good 'official' education, but who are clever and can discus things in a well thought out manner

celeb obsessed - i want someone to be themselves, and not constantly trying to emulate someone famous, constantly comparing themselves to celebs etc

selfish/self absorbed - if its all about them, it just becomes a chore, constantly having to 'big' them up, but getting nothing in return, this is a big one for me as my soon to be ex wife, never used to compliment me, but got really arsey if i didnt compliment her constantly, one thing that i read just hit a mark about this for me - "every man deserves to be spoiled and told how handsome they are on a daily basis. How do you expect to be treated like a queen if you treat him like a servant?"

lack of/too much independence - i want to be a partnership in which we help each other when needed, ok i want them to pull there weight and do things for themselves, but also someone who asks for help when they need it instead of stubbornly 'having' to do it themselves

no sense of humour/cant laugh at themselves - i WILL take the pee if they do or ask something stupid, just like i would expect the same returned, if someone is going to get grumpy, because i picked up on a stupid thing then its just not gonna work.

low/no sex drive - tried working through this with my soon to be ex wife through 8 years of our 10 years relationship, due to her changing to and thinking once or twice a year is enough, and thinking anyone wanting more is sex obsessed, just couldn't do it again

ok so there are probably loads more but those are the ones that spring to mind
    Drop a brand challenge
on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
    10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
    20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)

    Deal breakers:

    Not having a job
    Smoking
    Being overweight
    Disliking cats :o
    Not reading for pleasure
    Bad personal hygiene
    Bad debt
    Pervy/lecherous behaviour
  • I'm female, above average height and have always fancied men taller than me. Current lover is slightly shorter than me. When we started stepping out I was describing him to friends and colleagues and always ended with "but he's shorter than me", and realised how lame that sounded. I'm glad I didn't let this former dealbreaker ruin what has become great!

    Habits that are non-negotiable:

    -smoking
-laziness/slovenliness (especially leaving dirty grundies lying on the floor)
    -actively disliking animals
-stinginess eg never buying a round when it's their turn

I once went on a date with someone who was in the same year as Benedict Cumberbatch at Harrow. They were a bit too posh for me, to be honest.
    They are an EYESORES!!!!

    Female.

    Deal-breakers:

Demanding I cook meat or fish for him (though he's welcome to do it himself, with the kitchen door closed).
Refusing to buy me ale in pints (my ex only allowed me to drink halves).
    Bad manners.
    Not changing clothes often enough.
    Not liking dogs.
    Not tolerating my religious beliefs.
    Smoking in the house.
    Being in debt.
Not pulling his weight with housework.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Couldn't deal with a smoker, gambler or anyone who is religious.

    I'm a woman.

Deal breakers: poor hygiene (that includes poor teeth), stingyness, selfishness, no sense of humour or gross/toilet humour, poor manners, arrogance, stupidity, wimpiness. I also prefer taller than me, but a couple of inches shorter has never been a deal-breaker.

Fat/thin, hairy/bald...I don't really care. I don't much like very long hair though.

Funny you say about no vegans/veggies too!

Similar experience to the person I know I am guessing? :D

    Too high maintenance!

I'm a carnivore - meat is the focal point of the majority of my meals. I don't think a veggie would particularly like to watch me eating raw meat either - carpaccio and steak tartare are up at the top of my favourite dishes. That and the fact that I am up for eating pretty much any meat - everything from Antelope to Zebra (I've eaten both, and much of the alphabet in between :D)

Random but genuine question, but what does the sex of the person posting have to do with anything?

Are people being presumed to be in heterosexual relationships only?
