  • I have found it - 11 Shaymoor Lane, Bristol, BS35 4JR - The purchase price was £232,500 in 2007.

It is also much, much nicer than the other nearby house, so is justifiably on at a higher price.

Whether either of them are on at suitable market values I don't know - Pilning is a !!!!!! of a place if you work in Central Bristol so I wouldn't consider it, but who knows the OP's circumstances.

I wondered why Agent said that I'd been outbid - I thought it was a sure bet when I went in at £400k!

Why has the estate agent included a photo of their car? Ooops sorry wrong thread ;)
  • This one? http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-39883182.html

Actually, I think that's much nicer than the Shaymoor road one - the only benefit of the other is it's HUGE garden. The cheaper one (if that's the right one) has about twice as much living space!

    Hi guys

They are also cheekily marketing it at 3 bed - when one room is so small you cant even fit a single bed in it!

Would love your thoughts on what the next move should be...

Won't that be problem for you later on? Either when you need more rooms or Wish to sell? It's two bed masquerading as. Three?

I agree that the higher price would be justifiable - upstairs bathroom, end of terrace and off road parking - all things I would pay extra for.
I can see why OP would prefer this house over the mid terrace. However it is not like where you see two identical houses but one is slightly better decorated and they are otherwise the same. The end terrace is a better house and will always be worth more than the other property.

The house you want is loads nicer than the house you don't want, and so it's worth more! I wouldn't let it slip through my fingers if I were you, it's gorgeous.
