  • You need to have a look at the dictionary definition of "always", I think.

I much prefer the one at £290k and TBH I can see why its priced where its at when you look at the other ones you have posted links to. It has the views, semi rural compared to estate, character (love a log burner) not overlooked and cracking garden. I can see why you want to knock money off for the jobs that need doing but I don't think its overpriced. You cant take a 3 bed semi on an estate and a 3 bed semi rural character property and expect them to be the same price because they have the same items on paper. I wish you could because it would make my dream house affordable rather than outside our budget.

No you are right - I do agree but as I said in the earlier post even the agent agrees its a little expensive. Our second offer (as I said to agent at the time) isn't far off the valuation.

If you do love it that much , get a RICS valuation for a few hundred quid and go armed with that to the vendor.....assuming it backs you up , not them of course!
Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.

the agents estimate - as I said earlier (sadly not 'the') they valued it at less and she wanted it on for £290,000
