Miss Moneypenny, might as well give them an email anyway, I haven't received my order yet but thought a pre-emptive email might do the job when it was clear that everyone was only getting one shower gel.

just goes to show that the 'you don't get if you don't ask' works sometimes!

I am actually quite impressed that they have decided to honour the 9 shower gels for everyone.

just need to keep my fingers crossed now on the parcel arrival.

Would you believe it ...... Have just 2 mins ago recieved my order .... SURPRISE SURPRISE though only 1 shower gel ....but a FREE bottle of EAU DE BOG has also been added with rest of my order

Question is do I also ask ( demand )for the 8 missing items be sent !

Dear *********,

Thank you for your email enquiry regarding your recent internet order.

I can confim that your order was despatched on the 25th May and charged at £3.80.

On checking your order confirmation I note that you had infact opted to receive 9 free shower gels. this offer was intended to be limited to one free shower gel per customer. Due to a programming error the possibility of choosing more than one free product was offered.

We have identified our mistake and will forthwith despatch the 8 shower gels that were missing from your order.

Please accept my sincere apologies for any inconvienience caused by this incident.

YES! definately. They know it's their mistake and are therefore honouring the full order.........when you ask for it. I also got 2 extra freebies but they are still going to send me the other 8 shower gels

The morality of this does often come back and smak you in the face.

I'm a reasonable person, I will go through the approrpirate channels to recieve these goods but if it really is a genuine mistake I might leave it be.

Let's see what they have to say.

Just had a look at my two extra free gifts. One's a perfume and it smells BAD!

Haven't a clue what the other one is but it smells lovely. Just wish I knew what to do with it

Could we get them under the "purchase of goods act"?

Could you confirm if you're contacting trading standards.

Which is just going through the appropriate channels.

There behaviour up to now is un acceptable and it still is.
