Its taken a while but I managed to put all my work stuff into its cupboard. Okay so the end of the paperwork got dumped in a basket and shoved in the cupboard but at least it's away :p I also cleared the desk area of all paperwork except 1 notebook which I'm using. :D I've managed to declutter 2 films at the same time and I've decided to scrap the lie-in tomorrow so I can get up, get the laundry done and finish the cleaning as I'm sure my neighbours would prefer me to vacuum in the morning rather than now :rotfl: Plus some jobs (like windows) need to be done during daylight hours.

I'm off to bed. See you in the morning

Morning all. I was allowed a lie in by the doggies until 6.45 so not bad. Just having breakfast - mushrooms on toast - and have done the menu plan for the week. I now need to pop out after dog walk to get some bits and pieces to make said meals.

Other than that, I will try to get out in the garden today to tidy and may be plant some seeds in the greenhouse.

    Have a great day everyone.

Everytime I think I'll do this for HH the WM or TD finish and I end up dealing with that first as I have so much laundry I want to get through.

Anyways, kitchen list is attacked, and I'm going to demould in there as much as possible as soon as I've poo picked the yard. Something has upset Zacks tummy so it's not going to be pleasant _pale_, hang some non-TD washing out (uniform is on hangers in the bedroom windows to save ironing ;)) dust the bedrooms/hall/stairs and see where that leaves me. I think that'll be down to windows, mopping and vacuuming then more or less.

    Personal:
Demould hall (incl front door), livingroom, kitchen :(- done what I can in the kitchen but these really need chemicals spraying on them which I don't want to do before I go out. I'll do it Sunday instead when I can have the windows and backdoor open.

I'm doing well today :D

  • Morning all,

I said on Thursday I wouldn't be back until I had done HHI, well here I am!

It doesn't look any better so I'm going to do some more.

mumof2, sounds promising, hope this approach works for you both x

dizzy zapping vibes for your uncle.

Can I ask some advice? DDs school has a parent governors vacancy and I'm thinking about applying. Is this a really bad idea? Have any of you done it? I know some of you are involved with schools and I just wondered if you think I am mad.

    Thanks!

Ah, domestic chaos here. MIL really not doing well, has lost all confidence to move from room to room since her fall. Understandable, but she can't just sit on her sofa for the rest of her life poor thing. BIL up this weekend, meant to be taking her to stay with him for a couple of weeks. Hopefully she will go, as it will mean her being with someone for a while and maybe she will regain a bit of strength and mobility. In the meantime Mr N has seen housing people etc, got forms to fill in to apply for the place we hope to find her a nice serviced flat, made appt to see various assessors. Have put an ad on Freecycle asking if anyone has a walking frame they don't need; also looked at local charities but saw Argos have a good range. Mr N and BIL just gone over to visit her, make sure she's had breakfast and taken tablets, then Mr N will zip over to Argos and stock up on various Senior devices. Just had a message from some kind person via Freecycle to say she saw a walking frame in the charity shop 2 days ago, so will try there.

Breathe. I'm in charge of finishing a report at home, food (planned to make gingerbread cookies for general solace then a multi-cheese pizza this eve for all of us).
    WM on.
Need to do quick tidy of bedroom and en suite so shower ready for MIL.
    Dining room table needs clearing/cleaning.
    Have a good weekend everyone.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.

Me again. Hope you get the senior stuff sorted out Narco.

I have hoovered downstairs, done dailies, one load of washing now on airer and I combined the dog walk with getting the shopping. Only LittleyDog wanted to come out, so I left OldDog sleeping. She hadn't moved when we got back but I'm hoping she'll now keep me company in the garden.
