So we chatted for over an hour - very calm, no tears despite J getting quite cross. Basically we are each going to tell the other if we say things that make the other person feel hurt, make joint decisions on things, I'm going to keep the house as clean as I can and he's going to make a concerted effort to get rid of 'stuff'.

That is sounding really promising; not easy, but he must see how determined you are. Well done and hope things go well in the next few months.

    Afternoon all

Sorry to hear about your uncle Dizzy. Hope the treatment soon fixes things for him. Great news about your DH re the upcoming promotion and your new van.

Sounds promising Mumof2. I soo hope it all works out for you over the next three months.

Have stripped, turned mattress and put clean bedding on our bed.
Had a quick run round dusting - where does it all come from with just two of us ??
DH munched his curry for lunch as he's on back/late shift and has now departed for work.
Done three loads of washing, drying, folding and rehoming.
    Kitchen - WUDUPA

Might make a start on the accounts for February and do a menu plan for March. Need a shopping list for the weekend as well.

However, first I'm going to declutter a cuppa and do today's Spanish lesson. Also going to put the heating on as it's brassic here again today.

I've only just now had chance to log onto MSE - seem to have been up to my eyes today.
    • HUGE amount of dusting done
    • Finance spreadsheets checked, updated and backup done
    • Paperwork printed out for our cruise in May - this included a lot of copy'n'pasting as I didn't want to waste ink on non-essential sheets
    • Took call re one dog cancelling, and another filling the vacant slot
    • Received Jack Spaniel for his weekend with us
    • Made pizza for tonight's dins
    • Made loaf (in the BM)
    • Took second call re revised dates for the dog who'd cancelled :T
    • Took Jack for a l-o-n-g walk past the petanque piste and down to the Roman ruins and back
    • Washed up (and left stuff to dry in the drainer)
    • Tidied away detritus from earlier printing task
It doesn't really look that much, but it's taken all day! I've just put the pizza in to cook - should be ready pretty much when Mr LW comes through the front door.;)

I have to be up sharp tomorrow - I'm due at the audiologist at 09:00, and I need to feed and walk Jack before we go.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

(I was in work all day) after which I nipped over to have word with nice job share neighbour to offer her half of book week dress up day in return for me covering her hospital appt.
Does feel like like much but now I've written it done I'm happy with it. After food I plan to curl up with either knitting or a book and a large glass of something.

    Eighth Anniversary
Sending out best wishes to everyone,
My biggest thing today was completing the form for Ds2, still got lots of attachments to add to it, but it's getting there, DH has now caught my cold so now we have man flu in the house, on top of my ds2 being unwell too. I've done the washing, feeding, dishes, dog walking stuff today and had a trip to town with dm&d, only bought groceries though.
    Have a good weekend everyone.
