Just back on from work, forgot we had a whole staff after school meeting. Got 3/4 of an hour now to do food and a quick tidy round.
Not sure where the lads thought I was they ring dd3 to say they couldn't find me so she was round waiting as well. The furthest I ever go alone is shopping or work so it's not like I'm hard to track.
She's gone home now I'm accounted for and they've disappeared upstairs now all is well with the world (and there's someone here to cook tea)SPC~12 ot 124

Now I'm going away to iron for half a hour and I'm not allowed back until I've done it.
Thanks lovely - hope the ironing's all done!Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -
Had a great time today with DGS3+4, reading Mr Men books over and over again! DGS3 blew out his 3 candles in one big puff. Little one is almost walking on his own now - just prefers to be holding onto someone's finger, but absolutely determined to get where he wants to go. They are both gorgeous
Managed to phone my goddaughter and get her decision on the design for her wedding cake :j
Ran my course this evening, with an hour of very interesting discussion :T
Tomorrow will be devoted to house cleaning, washing, shopping, gardening, choir practice, and cutting out several dozen sunflowers from fondant icing0 -
Nothing to report really here other than I'm almost comatose with tiredness after an early-ish start for my new student at one campus, quick drive to the other and re-park, drag bag to find next student, return to car to get trolley of assessment materials, descend 3 lots of steps with it (building work means dragging it down the hill on the road is hazardous), drag it through a long building to the next room then to a very anxious, tearful assessment with a lovely young woman. Her tears and anxiety not mine, but emotionally draining for both of us.
Steeled myself to drop in to Mr T on the way home as tomorrow I'm at uni again then going to carvery early eve for friend's birthday.....and have barely a vegetable in the house for when vegetarian BIL arrives late Fri night. I'd planned Ald1 as apparently this week's specials are lots of garden stuff; but I was just too tired as it is out of the way a bit and I drive right past Mr T.
MIL had a power cut in her flat last night so we didn't know about it till Mr N dropped in to see her on his way home; luckily it was only the trip switch so he flicked it on - but stuff had defrosted from her little freezer, so he cooked her a meal from some of it and brought the rest of it home and cooked it for us, bless him.
Doing a bit of a report now but won't be working late as I'll start typing gibble. Have made reluctant decision to miss gym tomorrow morning and have a morning of catch up - my bag and trolley have got piles of stuff in from various students and this week's work, so it needs sorting.
May even get some flying done.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -

I've done all the dailies today.
Spare room all done and dusted
Washing all sorted out ready for the morrow
Spanish lessons completed
Made salmon fishcakes, cauli cheese, asparagus and sweetcorn for dinner - which was yummy. Also made a chicken curry ready for tomorrow but it all took ages and created a mound of dirty dishes
Kitchen now all clean and tidy and WUDUPA from dinner and curry.
Sending gws vibes, hugs, sticks and spoons as needed - please help yourselves.
Hope you all have a fabulous Friday

Morning all! Couldn't sleep so decided to get up and get on with my day. I know if I stay in bed I'll want to talk to J who is sort of awake and it'll be carp and I don't want that right now. He came home last night and just said 'what are you trying to do to me' and we hugged. Nothing has been mentioned but it is going to have to be - it will be really hard but we have to work this through and decide if it is something we can work through or whether we really can't be together
. Got more work in and some planned on the weekend; I'm going to have to see my typing as a proper job now and get some focus into my days and weeks - I can't really drift along as I have been.
As ever thanks for the hugs and support; it's wonderful that I have you lot behind me. This is all very scary - I'm really a happy peaceful soul and this is pushing me well out of my boundaries in so many ways. You're all :A xx
Narco I feel exhausted just reading about your day honey; hope today is calmer for you and you can catch up some more.
LW lovely to hear you have Jack Spaniel coming to stay; he sounds very sweet. I do hope your wrist isn't still painful today.
Iona your grandchildren sound adorable!
Mrs-MP your story about your lads is so funny - it made me smile. I bet they were in right panic mode at the thought they could have to do their own food!
Right, best get on. Catch you later.Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0
