Morning ladies - I've been up for ages as DH went into work early to clear some paperwork so washed and brushed already ;)

Have read everyone's news, so sticks and spoons at the ready...

Some good and bad news yesterday. Bad news is my uncle has officially been told he has prostate cancer. Luckily, if that word even applies, the least aggressive, most treatable type with the best success rate, so fingers crossed the next three months of drugs and radiotherapy zap the nasty stuff.

My good news is that DH's boss took him aside to say in 6 months or so, DH should be able to look forward to a promotion he's been aiming at for a while. DH is very pleased.

Confirmed the delivery date of my new van yesterday, which is very exciting. Just got to custom kit it out with dog cages and I'm there. I'll be part of the A-Team, swanning around in my black wheels :rotfl:

I'm strangely buzzy today...Not sure what that means, so watch this space.

Knitted a bootee last night but haven't got enough wool in that type to knit the 2nd one so I'll rip it back tonight and turn it into instant smoothie hats for next year.
Lynne the 'lads' are 15 and 21 so it's not like they shouldn't be able to cope and use their own resources for a couple of hours. Lol, I've obviously coddled them too much.

I'm busy all day today so won't be about till later.
    Have a good day all.

I lost yesterday to work. Had problems so I need to email my upliner about it. I still can't call up my order on the Mr A website so I'm going to have to contact them another way. It might only be £1 but its still £1 of my money they have without me getting anything in return. I also need to update my finances to see whether I can have a social life this weekend or not :rotfl: Big chunk of bills come out on Tuesday and I know I've overspent my budget this month :o Also need to sort out budget sheets for my planners, what I've currently got just isn't working as I'm having to scribble info in tiny writing and I don't do tiny writing. I'm postponing the trip to the bank and any related errands on foot until tomorrow as I still have a delivery to make tonight. On top of that its catch up day, and I need to make sure that DD's stuff is out ready to pack tonight. Neither of us were really with it last night, especially as she did all her ironing so it got left. Ex will be here by 5pm and I've told her to come straight home from school. In theory she'd have an hour to pack etc but there's roadworks on her route home from school and what should be a 10 minute bus journey can turn into 30+ minutes quite easily (she'd be quicker walking some days)!

Deleting frogs, and baking, from my list so I can concentrate on the important stuff that needs to be done today.

    Personal:
Demould hall (incl front door), livingroom, kitchen :(
    Wash DD's quilt, pillows
    Iron blinds
Chase DD to clean her shoes with polish not just quickshine
    Email Mr A - refund
    Planner pages
    Finances

    Work:
    Email ASM
Contact new customer email (if I can get it working) or text.
Deliver orders to customers - school, 42g

Morning all, no chance to read back so hugs/sticks/spoons where needed.

Yesterday, the only thing I did from my list was the lie in bit so I've had to play a bit of catch up this morning, so I have:

    Changed bedding
    Hoovered through
    Done the ironing
    Walked the dogs
    WUDUPA
    Sorted rubbish and recycling

Feeling super tired still as OldDog is up like a baby in the nights now. She cries because she forgets we've gone to bed and thinks we've gone out. And also tired because alcoholic husband has been mixing his drinks which makes him snore even more than usual. Words will have to be had.

Have a great day everyone, paid stuff now beckons. Oh please keep your fingers crossed that my boss gets a new job soon.
Spend less now, work less later.

So we chatted for over an hour - very calm, no tears despite J getting quite cross. Basically we are each going to tell the other if we say things that make the other person feel hurt, make joint decisions on things, I'm going to keep the house as clean as I can and he's going to make a concerted effort to get rid of 'stuff'. He acknowledges that yes, he does have a problem with this, but rather than me keep on at him all the time then try to make the environment such that he feels motivated to sort out - S's room is a priority for this. He was very upset by my email but I told him I couldn't have not done it - things had to be said. I've put a review diary in the diary for 3 months time to see where we are at. He did (with a bit of prompting) apologise if he has upset me and taken over; he is not aware he does it hence me telling him when it happens and vice versa.

Been working through my list and done 7 things including a nice 40 page document I've finished. Me earning more money is going to be a good thing to take some of the pressure off J. We think maybe his bank account has been got into as his money is disappearing a lot quicker than it should so he's been spending time looking at that.

Feeling more positive but realistic - 'building blocks' are in place if I should have to relocate as we know schools have places but I'm really hoping this shock of the email will enforce to J that he's not to take me for granted and things have to change. He's had his warning now it's up to him.

thank you for all your calming vibes, they worked. I had a good night's sleep and as it turned out both my students cancelled, so I haven't had to go to uni today. I managed to put the wm on, email a report summary and do a bit of sorting/tidying before going to the gym.
Worked really hard in Body Attack, which certainly left no room for any cobwebs to clutter up my brain.
Gradually putting a few things away as I pass them, I am now head down in a report. it is lovely and sunny outside but so cold; my concentration is wandering as my hands are so cold typing. Seems a waste to put the heating on just for that, but I think I may have to.

Checked the calorie/nutrition content of the dessert I'd planned to have this eve and definitely not worth it! I am still eking out valentine chocs one at a time, so I shall look forward to coming home to one.
