People that dont know me calling me "hon", drives me mad.

My mum used to drive my daughter up the wall, she was always saying "you're lossing you're pants". I'm sure my mum thought the waist bands should be under the armpits!

What really annoys me is the pronunciation of kilometres an hour as kilometers an hour.


An 'ometer' measures as in gasometer, mileometer,pedometer and kilometre should be pronounced to match kilogram (another measurement ).

Then there's the people who have electricity metres or measure in meters!!
