I also dislike the word "horny"...not for prudish reasons, I just find it silly.
Oh and one which might not make much sense outside of Liverpool, but oo'er, an expression of mild surprise, used almost exclusively by women. If you are not familiar with it, it is not the same as saying "ooh, err", and can be difficult to describe!0 -

I don't really mind any slang words for husband, as the word husband sounds so formal - I think it goes back to the Queen starting her Christmas Day addresses with "My husband and I..." Or rather "May husband end Ay" :rotfl: .
