My son has the same problem of cats pooing in his garden too, he has tried putting neeting above his seedlings and the pooed on top of it, he put cat pepper down in his garden and the cat pooed righted next to where it was, he tried criss-crossing canes across the garden, the cat still pooed on top of them! He at his wits end now and would welcome any good suggestions!0

I got a battery operated cat repellent sonic thingy, but as my garden is small with lots of shrubs waving their leaves around, the battery used to run out in a day or so, so I gave up on it.
Anywhere I really want to keep cats out of (like my veg containers!) I raid next doors holly and stick sprigs of that in the soil - they don't try lowering their behinds on that more than once.
Had no joy with keeping them off the lawn though, other than the waterpistol which chases them off at the time but doesn't keep them away for long. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
I can't stand cats for this very reason. They are disgusting little bags of fur who never crap in their owner's gardens. When the neighbours cats come into my garden it's usually our dog which spots them from the window first. I then slowly open the outside door and watch the action. Don't worry, our dog wouldn't know what to do if it did catch a cat - it's a good chase though. Failing this, I find a catapult often works a treat.0
