Hola! It definitely is quieter on here at the moment...still wondering where Fairyclicks is and hoping all is well!

I'm plugging away in the background - clicking ads on the side as I type (babies napping). I was doing all of them each day but am now taking a more relaxed approach (especially as I have two very little people who need my attention more right now). My 124 RR's are much more spread out now and only extending once they drop below 20 days. Always for 240 days. Sometimes I do about 100 ads, others I do about 20!

I've been hard at it with Neo since joining in around Jan/Feb and if I were to offer advice to anyone else, it would to definitely try and restrain yourself from buying too many, if any, RR's until you can acquire Golden status. It's been very clear to me that until that point, its not profitable at all and you have to put in a lot of time clicking your own ads or doing mini jobs if thats your preference, to stay on top of them. Alternatively, you can be clicking all these extra ads and making pure profit ready to buy a huge stash of RR's AND extending some, upon buying golden, if that makes sense.

However, like everyone else, the urge to buy refs was too strong and I went for it, but I am sticking with the 124 that I currently have until I reach 30000 points. On 20600 now, so I estimate it will be another month or so if I stick at the relaxed pace, but thats ok - its quite nice having a bit of a life again LOL!

Nice to see some new faces here too. Neo really took me a while to get my head around, but I've learnt enough to get buy at this level and can see the potential for a few more years down the line. $10 a day withdrawal is a good target I think and nice little boost for anyone! Especially if your are time rich and money poor at the beginning.

Quiet or not, we're a friendly bunch, so don't be shy about asking questions or just posting stats etc :-)

estrela_16.gifYou have bought a Golden Membership. You paid: 30000 Points
    :j:j:j

Now, I guess I'll go and buy that next 50RR. Main balance is just over $40, so hopefully should be fine to get them all extended by 240 days.
And after that, I've no idea....

SurfChik80 - Good to hear that someone is able to restrain from clicking every ad and as you said, your two little ones will need your time much more. My daughter is 11 now, so of an age that I'm mainly needed for taking her places, though during the school holidays obviously try to find time to do more things with her.
Think now I have Golden and therefore don't need to chase the points quite so much, I may try to limit my time on neobux and try to figure out a better balance, but I'm never very good at that sort of thing. :rotfl:
Good luck on your quest for getting Golden from points. It definitely can be done!

    Well done GromitFan! :T

How long did it take you to get those 30,000 points? How many ads a day have you clicked, very roughly?

    Thanks.

I've been clicking all ads most days, but obviously not being too bothered about it if we've been away, so probably averaged 200 ads per day. And I've been clicking as many videos as I could find in points offers - that sometimes helped the total mount up.

When I started with neobux back in February, there weren't half as many ads as there are now, so was really slow, but think it was around May that loads of mini-ads appeared, which obviously helped immensely. With the volume of ads around just now, if you were to click them all I'd say it's possible to do within 4 months. HTH.
With the volume of ads we now have, I don't ever manage to click all the adprizes, so who knows if I'd managed that....

Hope you are getting along fine.

Day 13 for me. Yes, clicking 200+ ads daily:eek:
Can be a bit boring seeing the same video again and again, and it's scary I'm beginning to repeat them word for word when the start to get shown!
But, it's slow progress, but got to be done to try and get to that "Golden" land :D
    Currently on 2600 points.
Did you do any points offers at all GromitFan?
Thinking I might do a few of those to see if i can hurry Gold status along!

tbh I usually have the computer on with the volume muted and often do the ads whilst doing other things. For example could be either watching tv, or maybe running things like sbtv on the mobile to gain swagbucks. There still though are some ads which seem to catch my attention. lol.
But I know what you mean about boredom with clicking them. Just kept telling myself it would all be worth it.
Pretty sure I didn't do any points offers (other than clicking on the video ones). I guess some would be fine, but probably best if you do to use an different email address as I believe most offers will generate loads of junk mail. Oh, and I'd also be wary about downloading some things. Maybe someone will appear that has done some points offers and advise which are fine and which to avoid.

Good luck on your Golden quest. :D
  • Gromit!!! :beer::beer::j:beer::beer::beer:

So pleased for you reaching your 30,000 points and joining the golden club!! Soo exciting! When have you set your times for buying new refs? Good luck on the next bit of your journey.

I dont click all the ads now that my golden is sorted for the next couple of years but I do the vids every day in points section. Probably do about half the regular ads and dont beat myself up now if I cant do them all.

I have tried various points offers and many dont credit and wouldnt risk the download ones so just stick to vids and ads.

I have also tried a couple of coins offers which also dont credit so again just stick to the couple of flight searches that guarantee you 24 coins a day. Hoping it will eventually pay a bit towards ultimate for me.

Surfchick........good to see you and yes......family comes first!! They arent young forever!! Looks like you wont be long till you are golden as well!!

I have been making an effort to do a few more tasks the last week or so as this seems to boost my daily earnings more than clicking loads of boring ads. (i have pc muted as well!)

Keep at it Barry.....youre doing well! :D

Thanks KM. I've already dived in and bought my next 50RR, so now at 100RR. :D
Not buying any more until I've extended all them, hopefully for 240days.

And after that - not sure what my aims are. lol.
Sure, one day, I'd love to be able to aim for ultimate, but that just seems such a long way off, so will just see how things go.

How are you doing with your saving for ultimate pot? Hope all is going well.
  • I have $77 saved so far. My reckoning is that now my account is quite stable......I am extending 1 ref per day for 240 days which seems to be nicely keeping on top of them and anything left over gets transferred to the ultimate pot. Most days $2 but some $3 or even $4.

If I can manage £20 a month on swagbucks transferred to paypal then to neo and other bits and bobs from other sites that I earn on......I should be able to do it.

Do the occasional bit of recycling but nothing major.

I tried explaing to my husband why I am constantly glued to the laptop and he just didnt really get it .....saying they aare just getting money off me if I am paying them for membership packages.

I can see where he is coming from but I can see the long term benefits and he seemed ok once I said it was only money I earn on line that is going into it.....not real money.

Then he wanted to know how much I would be making once I could start taking money from it and I couldnt answer him :rotfl:

Yeah, I'd hate to put any "real" money in. That would probably worry me. lol.
But at times, you can't help but wonder about the hours at the computer and just hope that it does all work out in the end.

When you say that you transfer money into your ultimate pot, do you actually move it in neobux? I noticed a Golden Pack Balance area has appeared. Is that where you move it to, or somewhere else? Not really sure what the Golden Pack Balance is about. lol. And I never move any money into Rental Balance - just always pay out of Main balance.

Have you ever thought about Emerald/Sapphire or Platinum/Diamond? Not really sure about them, or if the next step after Golden is really Ultimate. Don't remember anyone really speaking about them, but just wondered...
