$10+ a day Neobux Challenge 2016

I've just joined up a few days ago, and am working away at earning some money for the first 15 days. Just read the bit about points and coins, glad i saw that (thanks guys ) as i wasn't sure what they were really for.

Any hints/tips for a newbie, that you wish you knew in the beginning??

Hi there and welcome to the world of neobux.
Seems to be quite quiet on here just now, but perhaps people are on holiday.

I joined neobux back in February, but tbh I still consider myself a newbie. Sure, I understand more than I did back then, but still a long way to go.

Everything I have read seems to suggest gaining golden status as soon as possible.
There are a few ways to get golden:

• Buy golden membership. I think this is usually $90, but sometimes on offer at $75
• Save enough points to get golden membership. Think this requires 30,000. Initially seems like an almost impossible task, but I do believe it is achievable especially as in the past few months there have been loads more mini-ads to click.
• Get lucky and win a golden membership. Definitely can be done as I have read of more than one person on mse that has been lucky enough to win golden, so if time allows, definitely try clicking the adprizes.

As I'm never keen on spending any of my own money on things like this, I am hoping to achieve golden membership through points. Today I have just reached 25,000 points, so can almost see that goal. :j

The only other thing I can think to draw your attention to right now if you don't already know is to be aware of when you are clicking the standard ads. Those are the orange ones. This link should be able to help you out there:

Don't think it would make any real difference if you don't have referrals, but need to pay attention to that to be able to earn every day if you have referrals.

Think also from what I've read everyone has their own views on when to rent referrals, how many to rent and extending them.

I have decided to stick with 50 RR until I reach golden. Haven't been lucky enough to get a direct referral, but maybe you will - Always worth trying on the referrals board, but obviously depends if anyone uses your link before the next person posts their referral link. Or maybe you know some friends or family that would link to join using your link?

Thanks for the info about the ads, I had a banner pop up yesterday morning about it.
I've been on 5 days and got really excited when i reached 60p and bought 3 referrals, then read somewhere ive got to wait a week to buy more. got a bit disappointed because me referrals didn't click, next day i got 4 clicks on 2 and non on 1, which seems to be the same today. I wish id waited a bit longer, to be able to buy a few more referrals, but patience isnt my strong point!

I work from home, so i can run neobux in the background, and click every minute or so on another ad.
I've been doing the crowd-flower tasks too, but i did one of the tasks yesterday, which was horrid, and it pulled my accuracy right down, so cant do any tasks atm

So ive now got 2.25 in my balance, and got far too excited when the balance turned green
Im working on trying to get enough points to earn the golden membership, as i dont want to invest any 'real' money in it, however if i can earn enough.....!

Well done on getting your balance to turn green. I remember the first time I saw that. Right now I've got just over $21 and I must admit it's tempting to either withdraw money or to buy more referrals.
I'm trying though to hold back from buying more until I reach golden, then I hope to be able to buy maybe another 50 referrals and be able to extend them all for the 240 days, so don't have those to worry about.

If you've got money in your balance, then always an idea to extend your referrals for as long a time as possible. You don't want to end up losing them and then having to buy all over.

neobux does seem a slow process (unless you want to invest your own funds), but you can definitely see it building. In a way I sort of half-wish I'd kept a spreadsheet from day 1 just to be able to look back to how it's gone, but of course it's one thing saying that, but I'm not always likely to actually put that into practise.

I haven't actually done any mini-jobs on neobux as I'd been doing them on clixsense, though tbh I haven't done any clixsense for quite a few weeks. Was sort of hoping to get my clixsense tasks up to the level for the $5 bonus and then perhaps just let clixsense go and just keep at neobux and swagbucks.

Do you anything else like swagbucks or clixsense?

i signed up to clixsense a few days ago, just after neobux,but to be far have done nothing with it since the inital signup. i do swagbucks, - not a lot, but pick up codes most days, and do the poll, and nops, and 10 games as a mater of course, have cash out 45.00 in past, in paypal, and waiting for another sale on gift cards, to cash out another 25 into paypal.
I also do inbox pounds, but only for the emails, as it takes me about 1 min a week to do. its only pense, but ive got nearly 10 for not doint much at all.

I feel like a bit of an old timer but doesnt seem 5 mins since I was where you are now excited about my first referrals.

Advice? I would say, read up as much as you can and there is vast amounts of info on the neo forum.

Everyday I have a quick look on the problems and doubts section and am still picking up snippets of useful info.

Let your points build up and dont spend them on recycling like I did at the beginning doh

I have reached 29,720 points so will reach the holy grail of 30,000 in the next couple of days :T

Dont purchase too many refs too quickly...(I also did this initially but slowed down when I realised how extending for 240 days is the most economical way to go)

Its a long way off for you but when it comes to buying golden......do it when there is a promotion......main dates for these are at beginning of thread.

Well done on that number of points. Reckon you must be about there by now. Seems amazing to think of that number when you start out.
I know as I can definitely see the end in sight. I'm now at 26,259, so I reckon I should be there in 2 - 3 weeks if all stays as it is with the number of ads and videos.

Can I just double check with you - When there's a promotion I think it's usually just the $ price that gets discounted and not the number of points required. Is that correct?
If so, I'll probably get golden as soon as I hit that magical 30,000 and depending on how much money I've got saved in neobux decide how many additional RRs to buy. Got $26 right now, so guessing that should probably be around $40 when I reach the 30,000 points.
All getting so close.

I may go and check out the promotion dates as even if it doesn't make a difference with points for golden, I should consider it for extending RRs.

I reckon another week and you will be there too. I dont think there is any discount on points for golden so yes.......go for it as soon as you reach 30,000.

The most ideal and economical way to run neo would be to only extend when there is a promotion on.

Not always possible I know but worth checking out when they are available and making the most of them with funds available.

I am at 494 refs .......so close to the 500 where I will stick till I can save the funds for ultimate. Got $50 saved so far.:rotfl:

At least that's your golden sorted for another year.

Think 500 RR is the figure I've read most people aim for whilst at golden.
Ultimate seems that far off dream to me, so not even thinking of that. :rotfl:

Can I be nosy and ask - Are you yet at the stage of being able to withdraw any money out, or do you just put it all back in to build towards the ultimate dream? Just wondering what people do as obviously everyone's end aim will be to make money.

No I havent drawn anything yet.. Done a couple of small withdrawals just to make sure it works but I have ploughed everything back in trying to make sure the account is healthy.

I plan to start drawing something out when my account is two years old which will be June next year.

Im not sure where I want to go eventually with neo. Whether to keep increasing refs indefinitely or stop at a certain point .

Will be just nice when account is starting to show some returns.

Whats everyone elses thoughts?
