frogga,
you need to tell the girls mum exactly what happened, imagne if this was your dd doing this and you had no idea, also it may be an indication that something more serious is happening, lets hope not, but you need to let her know so that she can make her own mind up, i know its horrible, but you would feel worse if something else happened to another child and you had not done anything.
good luck and let me know what you decide

FROGGA - you've really started something here. Well done - the motivation will be brilliant. I hope you don't stop posting Frogga's Amazing Weight Loss Campaign (FAWLC) on here - I'd love to keep up with the news. I won't post my weight because you will all hate me forever - both my sisters do, but I wish everyone the best of luck. Things all seem so much better when they're shared, don't they?
CSARINA - It's really not fair that you're having to wait for this machine - you must be having to draw on all your patience! Have you got a name for it - it looks as though it should have one!
Well, my dinner is nearly ready - salad, chicken (alright, I confess - I bought a cooked chicken quarter from the Co-op for £1.19 which - now I come to think about it - is not very OS, but there's enough for two meals so maybe it's not so bad) and new potatoes, and some strawberries for pudding with yoghurt. I've iced the fairy cakes I made earlier - most of them will end up going home with the grandchildren tomorrow!
I think I'll watch the Eurovision Dance contest this evening. I love anything 'dancy' and can't wait for Strictly Come Dancing to come back. I love it. I've been trying to persuade my DH to come to dance lessons with me but no luck so far. My DS2's GF started hip-hop lessons last summer and she is looking really good on it - very toned. I'd love to go but I would be so old compared to the others. She's one of the oldest at 22! They probably wouldn't let me in.
Anyway, will call in later.

OMG i am so shattered, sure i walked miles at the raf base:rotfl: had a great time, brother did too i think, ds1 idolises him, giving each other hugs and so on, there was a 1 minute silence for the gunner who was killed, his poor family and he would have been back home in a few weeks!
Kids loved the planes, very very NOISY! brother did warn us but wasnt expecting that much noise:D kids went in the helicopter and got to put on the helmet and sat in the front, this was ds2's fave part.
Aussie - :rotfl: no comment as my mum posts on here as u well know:rotfl: cheeky mare:p

Hi everyone
Happy Anniversary to Mr & Mrs Aussie!
Frogga I'm with RedRuby, definitely tell the mother what happened. I would say something like "Something happened, and I've been dithereing about whether to say anything...but in the end I decided that if it was the other way round, I'd want to know...." then just tell her what your daughter told you.
Off out for a Thai meal in a mo. DH is off on the Cannonball Run from tomorrow (instead of us going on our boat together), and as he's only just got back from stewarding at a folk festival I think he's feeling a bit guilty. No need for guilt, I think it's a great opportunity for him and he's going to have a brilliant time.
Been preparing some stuff to list on Ebay, really like their Turbo Lister 2. Found the old version painful, so haven't listed anything for ages. I was going to list our Grand Remoska, as it's too big really and we now have a standard one, but thought I'd email Lakeland first to see if its covered under their guarantee. We've used it - once - though, and don't have the packaging, so I feel really cheeky....but we'll see. If they don't, I'll carry on with putting it on Ebay.
Think I might also sell our Kenwood Slicer, as we don't really use if very much. I think we've used it three times since I bought it? Need to make my mind up as DH is taking the camera with him!
Lots of washing on the line, although its been a dull day. Cut hedge, DH mowed lawns, picked up buckets of fallen/rotten apples and put it all in the compost bin along with some shredded paper. DH put edging in for a new bed we're creating along the new fence.... we've discovered a rather large panel from a car buried in the ground (we've dug up so much carp you wouldn't believe it), so he dug it out and I'll take it to the tip next week. We won't get to finishe the bed for some time, so we've covered it all in weed control fabric so it looks tidy for now.
Spent ages uploading pics from the camera into our virtual album software. Think I'll burn the sub albums onto CDs next week. I'm very good at regularly backing up everything onto an external backup drive, but think it won't hurt to have a CD (or DVD) backup of the photos.
I have started preparing stuff to make Christmas Cards. I've got lots of lovely christmassy fabrics, and I've been cutting it up ready. It's a really tedioud job, and my hand always hurts after a while so I do a bit at a time. I've also been creating some templates to print the insides of the cards, or to put messages in the aperture of some of the aperture cards as an alternative. Finally, I had a load of gorgeous blue card arrive today, and I'll be using that to make even more special cards for a couple of people. I'm intending to start assembling the cards next week, as if I leave it to nearer Christmas I know I'll just run out of time.
Yet more tomatoes roasting in the oven. think this will give us our last three or four batches of passata.
Nothing else happening here today, seem to have spent all day surfing!
Have a great weekend everyone, please help yourself to a hug if you'd like one.
Hazel
