    Morning All

Frogga: I'll join you I have about 7st to loose, definately need to do more exercise and cut back on the eating. I've just decided that I'm going to take my bike to the repair shop and get it sorted out so I can make a good effort.

Plan for today is to clean the insides of the windows with the steam cleaner and do some more sorting out of the mess stuffed in the backroom ready to start the renovation work. When that rooms done its only the kitchen and porch to go, maybe by this time next year I'll have a compleated house!!

    Have a good day everyone

Thanks for the suggestion Mioliere I can do with all the advice I can get. I have got lots of curves but not the ones you mean!

I think I do alot of exercise really so I don't think I need to do more. I know that sounds like denial given the obvious chubbyness that i am carrying! I bike to work , 5 1/2 miles and back! That's not a pretty sight I can tell you! When I gat home from work at about 2.45 I walk the dogs up to the school to get the kids. that's about 2 miles. So I think I am quite active and I am on my feet at work all day in the library ( it's not all reading books you know). It just goes to show how much I must be eating to have put on so much ! woops!

Wondering how long it will take to loose the 9 st. Getting a bit bored of it already, any longer than a fortnight and I'll be really cheesed off!:rotfl:

WOW FROGGA - you certainly do a lot of exercise! I'm seriously impressed. Have you had a word with your GP just in case there is an underlying reason? With that much cycling and zipping around you should be wasting away. Please don't get bored with it. Don't look at it as a chore; break it down to smaller targets like a quarter of a stone at a time. Each quarter will be an achievement - as they say, baby steps. One of my friends found it helped to eat things like sunflower or pumpkin seeds whenever she got the urge to snack - it helped her avoid the forbidden things and did her good, as well. She also got into the habit of drinking some water just before a meal which helped to fill her up. Anyway, best of luck - you deserve to succeed.

  • Good morning everybody :hello:

Havent had a chance to get on here for a couple of weeks as I started my new job 2 weeks ago so have been in hotels and went camping to scarbrough last weekend so last night was the first time I slept in my own bed for 2 weeks :o needless to say the house is a tip and I am going to be away for the next 2 weeks too so it will have gone completely to pot by then  I also havent got a clue where I am with money - I seem to be spending left, right and centre. Things are not going to settle down for a few more weeks so I am just having to ride with it.
DD goes to boarding school on Monday so we need to go to town to get some last minute bits and bobs. I still dont think it has hit me that she is going away :o this weekend is going to be full of sorting her out and packing. The wm is on and we will be going out for a leaving supper tonight with a few friends so no cooking today :p

Happy anniversary to Aussielass and Aussielad :Dhave a lovely day

(((((HUGS))))) to those who need them - sorry I have missed the last 2 weeks daily threads so I hope everybody is keeping well.

    Have a great weekend XOOPSX

Morning all, not sure what we are up to today, I want to pop into town to get one of those things that tell you how far you have gone on your bike, we went out yesterday but got lost in the woods, ended up a fair distance away, and I would love to know how far we had gone, we were out for three hours cycling

  • Morning All! I don't normally post on the daily thread but read it often. DD1 is back to school monday and I start college Tuesday and DD2 starts college creche Tuesday also so need to get motivated and get my routine back. Not doing much today, just trying to get house in order, as we have just had the loft insulated and all the stuff I have crammed into the attic over the past 6 years is EVERYWHERE and as the insulation is so deep there is no room in attic now to store things  . Need storage ideas fast lol.

Hope everyone has a great day :D
  • Welcome, I Wanna! Do you have a car boot sale near to you?? If its stuff that;s been in the attic 6 years, you probably don't need it!

Thanks, mrsM! Lets see if it works!
