:hello: Good morning everyone!

Weather much the same as yesterday here, though just had
few splodges of rain but that was it!

Felt so sorry for the mega big hailstorms some peeps
experienced yesterday.

Need to get out to garden today and continue removing
ivy (at back of borders) which I noticed had got worse
when I was out there doing this n' that yesterday.

It's quite tricky to reach, I have to crawl under bushes
to get to it :rotfl::rotfl: but have to get rid cos it can
grow soooo quickly and start to invade other plants. :eek:

Did a classic yesterday ..... checked for spider webs,
thought there were none ..... crawled in to start pulling
up ivy and felt something across my face! :eek:

Yep, I had gone into a beasties web (the blighter had
made 2 webs and had finished off with a thread routed
inbetween - which I had failed to see). :eek:



Pleased that you arrived safely at your sisters sylv -
have a wonderful time. :T Edit - Oh no, just scrolled
down and read the post you put on this morning about
wing mirrors being smashed. :eek::eek: Sending

Sorry to hear of your dreadful night sheils. :sad: It's
great you're all sorted for your hols though! Not long
to go now!

It's lovely that you all enjoyed the beach yesterday
leanfun with the GKs!

Apparently it's going to be another sunny n' warm day
here again today



so going to crack on with the ivy clearing in the
garden.

Also got a pile of ironing to do ..... but that can
wait!

Just off to make myself a cuppa then catch up with
comps.

Good Morning,


Just popping in to say I am heading off for the night. We are going to walk a part of Hadrian' s Wall this morning and then maybe head for a last visit to Beamish on our annual ticket. It is the 25th anniversary of our first date tomorrow and we saw a special offer at Darlington Holiday Inn for tonight for DB&B and wine. It will also generate a points bonus which will give us free stays so couldn't pass on it!


I would say you are making us guilty about the garden Alfie but we did some yesterday and I finished the ironing

Just finished my ironing too - thought it would be best

I was out at the shed this morning & one had made
her web right across to the greenhouse door :eek:
felt awful having to gently open the door & shoo her off
well done getting the dreaded ironing out the way
