Indie hope you had a restful day off yesterday.

Rose great you found a good home for your prize TV. Agree with everything you say about starting out with property it's really much harder these days. We thought it was hard and for years struggled and to make ends meet but everything is expensive now. Enjoy your fruit picking and the produce.

Sylvia hope you have a good journey home.

Alfie Ivy is a big plague in lots of places it runs riot if left. Take care hope you find some shade.

Inkling hope work is just busy and tiring and is not stressful.

Morning peeps. Back in for a cuppa. Thankfully it is a sunny morning here. Not done any comps but waiting for neighbour to bring me some more boxes still doing pear tree plums are safe for now lol.

Good morning, just packing up the car and popping to Durham to see family again and then back here for tea then off home.

Hope everyone is having a nice day.
Seem to have been really busy this morning sorting out some financial stuff and getting some Euros. Post Office was only offering 1.07 to the pound which I found shocking. Ordered some at the bank at 1.12 which will keep us going until we can change some over there.

The weather today is a bit more bearable cos
yesterday it was so hot, I had to give up on the
ivy and retreat indoors!

I actually ended up sorting out a lot of filing etc
- it was lovely and cool indoors and I have been
putting it off for ages - so thankfully it's done
now! :T

Errm - puddy cat had to help of course. :grinheart

Hi Inkling - hope your work is fun as well as being
manic.

Well - just got to go and sort my bloomin' wardrobe
out in a mo - about an hour ago heard almighty crash
.... went up to investigate and the clothes rail had given
up the ghost! :eek:

Was just out buying some new clothes this
morning ...... maybe someone is trying to tell me
something! :whistle: :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Then ..... when I've hopefully been able to fix that I'll
be out gardening again! :T :dance:

..... and ..... it's the last day of summer today! :eek:

Good Morning,
Been a cold night here but sun coming out now although rain is forecast for this afternoon.
DH going to get hair cut this morning but I suppose I will do the ironing.
Will have to get a few things from Tesco and collect Euros later.

Thanks for the pic and message Sheils. Always seems to be a lot to do before a holiday. Do hope you have a great time.

It was very hot here last night again. DH and I escaped last night and went out to eat. We both only managed main meal. I had a fish risotto. It was delicious.

Well online shopping ordered for today. DD1 has dropped GS off on her way to work so three of them to take to Maritime museum later.

Hope puzzles go well today FireFly.

Just found an email to say I've won a Goodread. It said its called Greedy Spider just looked up and it's a kids book so going in C box.

My bed was the same fire**fly - in fact couldn't see it
for the amount of clothes! :eek:

Anyhow, once I'd managed to put the rail back with
my trusty screwdriver I decided to have a good
clear out at the same time and have now got quite a
bit packed in charity bags ready for the next collection!

Must admit .... it took some time. :eek:

Think that the other cupboards/wardrobes can wait
a while!

I managed to get out in the garden afterwards though
to carry on with my ivy clear out quest - soooo look
out ivy - Alfie will be on your case later today!
