Looking dull here but sun supposed to come out later. Rain forecast for tomorrow.
Think we will need to come to your area for our hols next year Alfie you always seem to get good weather.

Sounds like the duck kept you amused yesterday rose.

I went through my wardrobe the other week looking for clothes to wear at night on my holiday as we are going to a hotel this time, usually go self catering and live in shorts. DH will grump like anything if he has to wear trousers for dinner at night in the heat although it will be air-conditioned. Didn't see anything to throw out though. Great you got your stuff sorted out FF and Alfie.
    Must get on.
    Good Luck everyone.

It did keep me amused shiels. Just get the cenario you look out the kitchen window and there is a duck in your back yard. You say to yourself I am seeing things lol. Then a neighbour is trying to catch it. Open door go out then say to yourself I am sane. See neighbour trying to catch duck and really have to ask what is going on lol.

Ho Rose the duck antics made me smile too.

Alfie great you fixed your wardrobe. Well done and sorted clothes.

Sheils I always have to try things on before we go away.

Firefly hope shopping comes soon. Yesterday DH forgot about delivery and had a surprise when it turned up.

It was very hot and tiring out yesterday.

Sylvia hope you are enjoying being back in your new flat.

Indie hope work is better now it's just half days for you.

Hope everyone has a great and lucky weekend.

Had a lovely week in Turkey but it was very hot! Around 45 deg in daytime and around 29 deg on night too! Youngest got sunstroke and dehydration and me, DS and DD1 got sick bug too but other than that it was brilliant. The place was lovely and clean with a good choice of food and the resort was quite busy too. I just don't think I could cope with the 4 & half hour flight and then another hour an half travel to resort again any time soon!

Sheils, I bet you're excited for Salou. I'm sure shorts and tees are quite acceptable in the hotel. I just think it's wet swim wear they don't like.

It was fairly cold today fire**fly and I even put my heating on! Hope you got your wardrobe and jobs indoor sorted :)

Sylvia, I read about your car getting smashed :( Hope the police find them. Glad you had a nice time with DD and sis.

Hope all is well with you and yours leanfun :)

Rose, animals are getting very daring these days! The seagulls in Whitby fly up and steal your food even from your mouth! The geese and ducks in my local park chase the kids and the dogs too!

Alfie, hope you got your wardrobe fixed. :D No more swinging from it ;):p I asked DH to fix a leaking tap weeks ago which he didn't fix properly so I asked him to switch the water off incase it drips too much before we went on hol. It's a good job we only went for a week as I had a dish full to the brim of water when we came home! He switched boiler off instead of water! :o
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!

Hi everyone, sorry been missing for a few days.. Watched something on YouTube and got a virus on Lappie.. Wouldn't mint but I have MCaffee on both our laptops.. I was under the impression that it stopped viruses? Anyway I pay insurance for it but they are still putting it back to factory settings so I have to start over. They say they will load it back up if I have all the passwords etc.

Firefly I am not sure if I replied to your last pm and can't seem to find my pm's on my iPad. If I didn't I will reply when I get my Lappie back later today. No am still smiling to myself by the way 😃😃

Rose glad they came for the duck. Reminds me of when my GD came home from school with a chicken under her arm she had found on the road lol.

Glad you had a lovely time away Wingo. Sorry you were caught with the sick bug though.

Love the flat leanfun, thanks, so much easier without the stairs. Hope you are ok?

I bet you feel good for clearing your wardrobe Alfie. My DD has dumped a load of Monsoon clothes on me and other bits and pieces she wants me to put on EBay for her. I am sure she thinks I have nothing better to do with my time lol.

Is it next weekend you go away Sheils?

He everyone else, hope you all have a lovely weekend.
BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS

    Morning ,

Great you had a good time wingo. We are trying to get organised for our break. Our hotel does say long trousers for dinner but not sure they enforce it (some do but most don't) Nice short flight of two and a half hours for us, still hate the travelling though.

    Supposed to rain here today.
Hope everyone has a lovely weekend.
