You will never guess what I just found in the kitchen. A slug . Couldn't believe my eyes. Will have to move tubs away from kitchen wall tomorrow. Not that they are that close. There must be about a foot gap. Do not usually see slugs here but they must be hiding somewhere. It was huge.

Morning peeps. A bit dull here this morning. Have been out doing a slug inspection and found another two on the path. Lifted up tubs and nothing underneath them. Do not want to put pellets down as courtyard is open to everyone and if they have their dogs/cats out they might pick them up. Also do not want the two little kids that have recently moved here to be picking them up. So will just have to be vigilant. Never been a problem before. Hope everyone is well.

Morning everyone
Welcome Jane and happy comping. Got today off but seem to have been up forever, son and girlfriend have gone to Thorpe park for the day so i dropped them off at the train station at silly oclock this morning lol... The sun is out and it's another warm day so have washing out. Hope you all have a lucky day.

In fact last night I had not one but two wine spritzers and
very nice they were too! My excuse was I'd been
fairly busy in the garden all day and my goodness they
went down very well! :dance:

I was still having probs with reaching the ivy and decided
that a shrub (blocking my way ) had spread out quite
a lot so spent the whole day giving him a good prune back!
He looks a whole lot better and now I've got a little route
to get in and sort out the ivy! :T

rose - wishing you good luck with slug problem! Disgusting
creatures! :eek: I find them all over my garden hiding
under stones etc keeping cool! Particularly noticed more
as I've been clearing out the ivy! The little blighters don't
like being disturbed. :rotfl::rotfl:
